The Aura of Health

We made our way out of the cave.
"Where do we go now?" I asked.
"Beats me," replied my sister.
Suddenly, another cavern relatively close to the cave we were just in started glowing tremendously. The aura was blue.
We nodded to each other and ran toward it. The closer we got, the more blinding it was.
But we couldn't relent.
We rushed even further and ran into the cave. It was easy to find the place now. We followed the light.
Finally, we made it to the place. Mr. Ominous was standing there in front of the sword, which was glowing high up in the air. There was rumbling, and suddenly, I saw something floating in the air.
It was the missing shard of the sword. It was flying toward it, and attached itself to the sword again.
The Sword of Atlantis was healing.
Then we realized that we had to act now. We ran toward Mr. Ominous and jump-kicked him right in the hip. He was sent flying and he smashed into the cave walls.
"What the - you pesky little brats!" Mr. Ominous shouted. He got up, ran and kicked us both. We were sent flying and hit the ground.
Now, you've probably been thinking about how come everything hurts for us. You know why? We're real people! It's not like we're the invincible heroes in movies. If we get hit, it hurts. I'm sure that if you were sent flying all the way across a cave and hit the ground hard, it would hurt, right?
So let me make this clear.
It hurt.
I cried in pain, but nonetheless, I had to get up. So I did.
But then everything stopped rumbling.
The sword dropped to the ground, good as new.
All of us stood stationary for a few seconds.
Then we all raced for the sword, which was lying in the middle of the room.
We all laid hands on it at the same time, and we began to wrestle for it.
The bad thing was, Mr. Ominous was ten times as powerful as the guy we had faced earlier.
And that guy himself had knocked me out.
Mr. Ominous suddenly let go of the sword.
And then he punched me and my sister.
He kept punching wildly.
Each blow made us weaker and weaker. Finally, we fell to the ground and lost grasp of the sword.
We couldn't get up. We were in too much pain. Mr. Ominous grabbed the sword and started to run with it, but it flew out of his hands and came toward us.
Of course. It was meant for us.
But then the unexpected happened.
Mr. Ominous picked up the sword right out of my hands and smashed it on the ground. He smashed it everywhere over and over. Its magic started to fade, and it started to become exactly the way it had been when we had first gotten to this dimension.
All I could do was stare in shock.
Why in the world was he doing this?
"If it has no magic, it won't fly to you!" Mr. Ominous shouted, as if he were reading my thoughts.
"But I thought you needed its magic," I managed.
"I do. So once I finish you off, I'll heal it again! And this time, I'll look to it that you don't find me again!"
With that, he began to punch me again.
"Sis! Go do it!" I yelled.
My sister got up slowly and ran toward the sword. She picked it up and ran toward the place to heal it.
"How does it work?" She asked.
"How should I know? Make an effort!" I said, still suffering Mr. Ominous's punches.
"Oh, no, you don't!" he said, leaving me and running toward my sister.
"No!" I yelled, and with that I began to crawl behind Mr. Ominous. I was too weak to walk.
But I still managed to get to him and I pulled his leg. He fell down onto the ground.
Then he got up and pounced on me. The two of us wrestled each other wildly on the ground. Punches were exchanged with the occasional kick.
My sister seemed to have found out how to fix the sword. She placed it in a spot that was shaped like it. Then she pulled a lever made out of rock, and the sword started to glow again, flying into the air.
"You got it to work!" I exclaimed while sustaining another punch.
I was almost completely defeated. Lucky for me, so was Mr. Ominous.
Our blows started to become weaker and weaker.
Eventually, we laid on the ground without moving.
We were most definitely conscious, but we couldn't fight anymore.
The blue light started to fade again, and I was zapped by a blue beam all of a sudden.
Suddenly, I felt good as new. Nothing hurt, and I was extremely active.
The sword had healed me.
"Oh, so you think you're the only one who can do that?" Mr. Ominous asked. He took one of his bottles and drank all the liquid inside. Suddenly, he was good as new, as well.
"Run!" I shouted, and my sister and I started to run out of the cave with the sword, Mr. Ominous giving chase.
