2. January 2004 (late nights)
"Hello Kids!" heard Chifuyu the amused Voice of his Mother on the phone. "Hi Mom." He greeting her. "And? How are you two doing? How is school going?" She asked but she seemed not really concentrated.
"Oh, i have-" Before Chifuyu could answer his mother interrupt him because she talked to someone else. "Oh yes the smoothie is really delicious! Thanks Darling!" She shouted over the whole Beach. Wait-Beach?
"Mom? Where are you right now?" Asked Chifuyu carefully but his Mother didn't answer. Instead Chifuyu saw on his phone that she is, to his surprise, at the ocean and it looks like she is on a party.
Chifuyu stared shocked at his phone which Haisha noticed and walked to him then. "What's wrong?" She asked carefully. Chifuyu showed her his phone where you still could see the beach-party. Haisha stared a moment on the screen then sighed quietly and goes a few steps away.
"hang up..." She mumbled. "She is busy now." Chifuyu looked unsure on his phone. She was still his mother. But right in the next Moment she put her phone away and he saw how she walked away.
It's like she forgot that they were calling. "Mom?" Chifuyu asked again, but didn't get an answer. Disappointed he hang up and threw his phone beside him on the couch. Haisha was in the meantime in the Kitchen and cleaned the dishes with a saddened look on her face.
"Why is she doing this?" He shouted with a disappointed volume in his Voice which let Haisha look up. "I mean, what did we do?" Haisha put the dishes away and sat down beside Chifuyu. "I mean, aren't we important for them?"
"Oh no." Haisha put a arm around her little brother so that she could hug him. "If they would they would have got us into a orphanage and not let us living here and paying for meal."
"And why is she on a party then?" "She's in LA, what did you expect? Probably there is a business-party who a friend of her is doing." Explained Haisha and the sound of her voice wasn't angry or Strict any more. She sounded lovely and compassionate.
How could she be this relaxed? It affected her just as much as it did him? She was at least just one year older then Chifuyu and also just as inexperienced as him. She needs her parents as much as Chifuyu does. But they weren't here.
They were always travelling around the world and just came home on Christmas. If any. "Chifuyu...." Haisha strengthened her grip and scratched calming through Chifuyu's Hair.
"Even thou its bad... and i know how much you need them and you miss them..." Haisha strengthened her grip even more and gave a little calming kiss on his forehead. "I'm always here for you, okay? Nee-san will always take care for you."
"Hmm... Thank you..." Chifuyu mumbled quietly and started to smile. Even thou he knew that they would be in difficult situation on your own. Haisha was a girl and couldn't fight. At least Chifuyu never saw her.
She also wasn't the type of it. "Chifuyu..." She started again and looked serious at her Brother. "Don't get to do the things Baji does, understand?" Surprised of the sudden theme change chifuyu let her go and looked confused at her.
"Why? Is he bad?" Haisha didn't answer. She just looked a long time at Chifuyu. "Did he mess up something?" Haisha sighed. "He should tell you himself. Did you get homework?"
"Nee-san!" Chifuyu said. "Why did you know but i don't? That's not fair!" "Just Promise me! I don't want your future be ruined by this idiot!" Chifuyu looked confused at her.
"How do you mean that?" Haisha didn't answer and stood up. quietly she walked back in the kitchen and started doing the dishes again. "Nee-san! You know Baji more then you say! What do you know?" Haisha mumbled just "Nothing" And continued her work.
