Friday

——

Dream woke up to his sister jumping on top of him, "Drista? What happened?" Dream asked, yawning before sitting up. "I set an alarm to wake up before you!" Drista yelled, a smile forming on her face. "Really?" He asked, smiling at how happy his sister seemed to be. She eagerly nodded, pulling her brother out of the bed.

"I made us both cereal!" She said, her smile growing as she pushed her brother into the bathroom. "You get ready so you're not late! I already took a shower and everything," Drista said, closing the bathroom door once her brother was inside.

Dream smiled, seeing his sister so happy that she woke up before him and made them both cereal made him incredibly happy. He quickly brushed his teeth before stripping and stepping into the shower.

Once Dream stepped out of the shower he lazily dried himself before walking out with a towel wrapped around his waist. Dream quickly walked into his bedroom to dress. He threw on a white shirt and black sweatpants before walking to the kitchen to eat the cereal his sister prepared for him.

He sat at the kitchen island next to his sister who was on her phone scrolling through Twitter. She greeted him. "Have you met anyone at your new school?" Drista asked Dream with a smile on her face.
"Yeah actually I did, his name's George," Dream responded with a grin on his face. Drista smiled back at Dream, happy her older brother had made a new friend.

"Do you want a ride to school or is your friend picking you up?" Dream asked, grabbing his bag and putting on his shoes. "My friend is going to meet me here and then we'll take the bus, cya after school!" Drista yelled as her brother grabbed his set of keys and left via the garage. He got into his truck and started his short drive to the school.

He was relatively early, saying as he woke up 30 minutes before his alarm. He sat on the stairs in front of the school, pulling out his phone to check up on his sister and text George– he didn't have George's phone number! He'd have to ask the brunette for it once he arrived.

A few minutes passed, and Dream caught sight of George walking up to the school. He smiled and waved at George, trying to get his attention. The brunette looked around for a minute before he caught eyes with Dream. He smiled and waved back, walking over to the blonde.

"You're here early, George," Dream said, putting his phone into his sweatpants pocket. "Could say the same about you, school doesn't start for another 45 minutes. How long have you been here?" George inquired, taking a seat on the stair right above the one Dream was seated on. "10 or 15 minutes, my sister woke me up at 6 AM so I decided to get here early," Dream started, looking up at George. "Oh, yeah, that makes sense. I just decided to get here early after not coming to school for the last week," George replied, pulling out his own phone.

It was a gift from his mother before she left the two. It was her phone before she gifted it to George. He promised her he'd always have it, even if he bought a new phone he'd always keep the one his mother gifted him. It's extremely old and the screen is shattered. The camera doesn't work that well and it can take a while to load but George has kept the phone, it's one of the few things his mother gave him that he still had.

"Anyways, can I have your phone number?" Dream quickly asked the brit.

Dream eyed the brunette's phone and questioned it slightly but didn't say anything as he didn't want to be rude.

George handed his phone to Dream so he could.to put his number on the new contact, Dream quickly added his number and handed the phone back to the brunette.

The two chatted for a bit before more students started arriving. "It's still early for people to be getting here, 30 minutes until school starts," Dream said, turning to face the brunette. "Yeah but the school opens now, most people get here early to study in the library," George replied standing up. "Let's go inside, probably better to hangout in the library than out here," George stated, offering a hand up to Dream which the blonde accepted.

They both headed inside, making their way toward the library. Once the boys arrived at the library, George gilded both of them to a spot in the back of the library. It was the spot farthest from the entrance. They both found two empty beanbags and sat down on them, Dream letting go of George's hand in the process. George slightly frowned at the lost contact but shrugged it off.

The Brit got Dream's attention before asking him, "Are you excited about the party tomorrow?"

The blonde looked a bit uneasy before answering. "I'm a little nervous but I'll go for you George." Dream smiled at the brunette.

"You don't have to go if you don't want to, Dream." The brit responded, looking at the taller with concern in his eyes.

"I want to go to the party George, I want to get to know you a bit more!" The blonde said with a goofy smile, one the shorter believed was contagious as he was now grinning.

The brit gave up and they both opened a book to pass the time until the first bell.

Once the first bell rang, both boys were slightly startled before they closed their books and stood up, heading to their first class.

They both entered the class and took a seat next to each other.

——

After school ended George managed to sneak back home, entering his room and locking the door. He threw his bag onto his desk, quickly pulling out his phone to text Dream the party details.

He started going through his closet, looking for something to wear before he settled on a pair of ripped jeans and a t-shirt.

George was excited about the party, as he could finally let loose all of his emotions through alcohol and drugs. Maybe he could even meet a few people and best of all, get to know Dream more.

As George looked in the mirror he was disappointed with himself, seeing the bandages and scars; however, he shook those thoughts off before he decided to go back to his bedroom. He grabbed his wallet checking to see if he had any cash. He didn't, which meant he'd have to steal some from his father.

George prayed his father was passed out on the couch and snuck downstairs making sure he wasn't present in the kitchen. He looked around the counters for his wallet, he quickly saw the old torn-up brown wallet and took some money from it before returning it to its previous place. George went back to his room to grab his phone and leave.

Once the brit had everything he needed he left through his window to make sure he didn't run into his father.

——

George was walking down his street before he turned to get out of his sketchy neighborhood as he bumped into someone,

"Oh- shit, I'm sorry.'' George quickly apologized.

"It's fine, it was an accident." The man responded, quickly looking up from his phone. "Hey wait, aren't you George? We're in a few classes together, I'm Wilbur, Wilbur Soot," the man–Wilbur–said.

"You're British?" George blurted out, immediately slapping his hand over his mouth, "Sorry that was rude," George mumbled, using the hand covering his mouth to rub the back of his neck.

"It's alright, and yeah, I'm British. It seems you are as well?" Wilbur asked George, pulling out his phone. "Yeah, I'm British as well," George replied, his lips curling up in a small smile.

"Right well, you coming to the party my brother is holding at our house? My dad's out of town with my younger brother and gave me and Techno permission to throw a party," Wilbur said, pocketing his phone.

"Yeah, I am, my friend is coming as well," George said with a slight smile. "We can walk there together if you'd like," Wilbur offers, a smile forming on his lips.

"Sure, I'd much prefer to walk there with a friend," George says with a nod. They both start heading toward Wilbur's house.
