I was writing in my new notebook/diary of what happened yesterday. It was a really sunny afternoon, making the trees look even more beautiful as the wind blew away green leaves from the trees. I really wanted to go out and enjoy the really pretty afternoon. I opened the window and felt the breeze lightly hitting me in the face. I closed my eyes and smiled. Truly, what a beautiful day.
Since yesterday, I've decided to avoid BEN as much as I could. Sure, he can think I like him, but I really don't. Let's just leave the cocky BEN the way he is, to make things easier. I cracked my knuckles and grabbed my eraseable pen, thinking of what I should write now. I decided to make a short story about a girl who falls in love with a monster.
"Once upon a time, there was a young girl who was kidnapped by a monster. At first, they had a hard time getting used to each other, but later they became friends. Good friends. Every night, they would walk in the woods holding hands, enjoying each other's presence. They fell in love with each other soon enough.
Soon, the girl was freed by the monster because he wanted her to be happy. She smiled, hugging the monster one last time before he walked into the woods again. She waved at him yelling goodbye since he was at the edge of the forest. After that, the you girl returned to her normal life, never forgetting the monster she used to love. The end."
I let go of the pen, tired from writing. As masaged my sore hand, looking at the window while doing it. I stopped masaging my hand and stood up from the bed I was writing on. I paced on the floor, thinking. What can I do? I obviously can't go down since BEN was playing his games. I'm not scared about him locking me at the basement again. I'm just afraid of facing him.
I sighed, until I was interrupted by a voice yelling my name, "[Name]?"
I widened my eyes. BEN. "Uh, y-yeah," I yelled back.
"Can you come down here? Please?"
I whimpered, afraid, "Um, uh, yeah! Coming!"
I sighed, I guess I can't avoid him. I'll just be a little more quiet. I walked towards the door and turned the knob, opening the door. I looked around the hallway and stepped outside. I quietly walked down the stairs, heading to where BEN is. When I came down the stairs, I looked around to see if he was around me. When I didn't find him, I knew he was playing games in the living room.
When I enetered the living room, I saw BEN playing games (not Legend of Zelda). He paused the game and looked at me, smiling. I looked at another part of the room in return. He cocked his head to the side, confused about what I did. Oh no. Is he mad now?
He shook his head and smiled again, "Hey [Name]. What's up?"
I shrinked back, "N-not much. What about you? What did you call me for?"
"I'm good. Thanks. Oh and yeah, about that...could you get me something to eat please? Sorry, but I'm playing a really important game I have to attend to, so...could you please get me um, I don't know. How about a sandwich please," he unpaused the game and gave a sheepish smile.
I gave a shaky sigh, "Okay..."
BEN smiled, "Thanks," then he glued his eyes on the big screen on the wall again.
I'm surprised. Outside, the house looks like a beautiful small house, but inside... It's amazing. Everything is really modern. Except our rooms of course. I wonder how he bought all this stuff. I just wonder... He probably got it from a victim he used to torture. I frowned, what if he did? Poor victim.
I walked to the kitchen, heading for the cupboards, getting a couple of the bread I'm going to use for the [fav/sandwich]. I sighed, why does he have to be so lazy? I smiled, the last thing he would do is actually not be lazy. Thanking about it, he has made some waffles. I shook my head while smiling, he's just like a little boy sometimes.
But thinking like that doesn't make me fear him less.
My hands started shaking, afraid of BEN. That nightmare felt so...real. I frowned, he can be a real monster sometimes. The last thing I wouldn't do is be his friend. I looked over the couch, watching him playing a game I didn't recognize. I looked at him wearily. I crushed the sandwich a little bit, but soon snapping out of it. I sighed and grabbed the plate with the sandwich, my hands still shaking. When I walked over to where BEN was, I put the plate down beside him and turned around, about to leave, but a certain monster clad in green grabbed my wrist. I turned around to see BEN smiling.
BEN grabbed the sandwich and put it in front of me, "Thanks [Name]. Want some of it?"
"N-no. I'm fine," I stuttered.
BEN shrugged, "If you say so," he glued his eyes to the screen once again.
My whole body started shaking, so I ran up the stairs, afraid. I almost jumped in fear when he grabbed my wrist. I looked at my wrist and rubbed it, biting my lower lip. I walked towards my wooden door and quickly turned the knob, opening the door. When I arrived in my room, I sat on my bed and started thinking about BEN.
The nightmare was too real. Maybe he's acting so I fall under his evil spell? I let out a shaky breath, my heart was beating so fast that I thought it was going to explode. I have to be strong. I won't let that sadistic monster kill me, if it's the last thing I do. Yeah, I know, he can be a complete baby sometimes, but I can't let him cast a spell on me. I will not be his friend, he doesn't deserve it.
~BEN's POV~
BEN was surprised when he saw [Name] run up the stairs like when a person is afraid and runs up the stairs like if a monster was chasing them. He smirked, there is always a monster there, where the stairs are. And sometimes, it's him. He enjoys to scare the hell out of his fellow victims.
He shook his head, back to where he was thinking. Why did [Name] act so afraid of him? What did he do? Did he scare her too much when he sent her to the basement? Probably not. They saw a movie together, so that can't be it. He frowned, why is she afraid of him? Did he do something wrong?
His thoughts were soon cut off when he killed the last person of the game he was playing. He yelled in triumph and threw his hands to the air, dropping the controller. He did his little winning dance and soon sit down, controlling himself. He smirked, this was the hardest round. He let out a grunt, that wasn't the hardest round. That was like level 0.
He began to show off his skills in gaming "Ha! In your face losers!"
But seriously, back to [Name]. Why is she like that? Is she sad? Is she mad? He needed to know! Why is she acting so...afraid? He frowned, turning off the TV. He walked up the stairs and opened the door, plopping himself on the bed. Putting his arms behind his head like a pillow, he began wondering why she was like that. Is she mad at him? He widened his eyes.
Is she not his friend anymore?
(A/N: Sorry for the delay, you guys. I was really busy with my tutor and shit. I'm so sorry, but I got to update of a Wednesday! Yay! XD anyways, no. The story you wrote isn't the whole story of the girl and the monster. The monster is not BEN and you are not the girl. That was simply an idea of yours (or mine XD). Anyways, thanks for everything and for reading this. Love you all 😘)
