"Are we there yet?"

"No."

"Are we there yet?"

"No."

"Are we-"

"No [Name], we're not there yet."

"Oh..."

I could hear BEN finally sigh in relief. "Are we there yet?"

BEN inhaled, fraustrated, "Here we are!"

I clapped my hands together, "I wanna see! I wanna see! What is it?" I kept jumping up and down, exited about his little 'surprise'.

I loved surprises since I was little. Oh gosh! I'm so exited! I started jumping up and down, desperate to see what he has got for me. What if it's a tiny puppy?! What if it's a cute little kitten? What if-

BEN got his hands off my eyes, revealing a beautiful white wooden table with a pair of white beautiful chairs in opposite sides. The most beautiful thing though, was the amazing-looking food that must have taken a long time to cook and serve. A smile was slowly curling up my lips, showing the biggest smile I have ever smiled before.

I was speechless, cupping my hands in front of my mouth; tears of joy were gathering in my eyes, making it a little hard to see. I just couldn't believe this. BEN - my friend - made this amazing dinner for us in the porch, showing all the trees and the nighttime sky! How is that even possible? And the food! Oh the food, it must have taken hours to cook. This is simply beautiful!

"B-BEN..." I managed to let out, tears still prickling at the corners of my eyes, trying my best not to let them fall to the ground.

BEN was silent all the time while I was taking it all in, "You like it?" The tone in his voice was hopeful, praying so that I could say I liked what he did.

"Like it? Like it?!"

BEN looked down, "Sorry [Na-"

I let my slender arms point at the wooden table, looking at him with a surprised expression wrapped on my face, "BEN, no one has ever done this to me before! The place where you set it all up is absolutely gorgeous! And the food, the food, it smells delicious. When did you learn how to cook like this?!" I sighed, "Nevermind that. What I mean is, I simply love it. It's the best thing that ever happened to me."

When I finished my last sentence, I hugged BEN as hard as I could, "Thank you."

BEN seemed a little surprised at first, but eventually hugged me even tighter, swooping my feet off the ground and spinned me to my left. I am so happy. I still can't belive BEN went through all this trouble for me.

When we finally let go, I could see BEN smiling at me, happy of what I said, "Everything for you, my love."

I laughed, "I love you too, babe."

I could've sworn I saw BEN widen his eyes when I replied to him like that. I thought we were just playing? I sighed. 'Whatever,' I thought, 'Let's get to eating this!' I licked my lips, extremely hungry for what was set up right in front of me.

BEN walked over to the the chairs and pulled one that must be mine. 'What a gentleman,' I thought. I muttered a small 'thank you' and sat down. He smiled and walked over to the other chair in front of me. When he sat down, I put my hands on the table, eager to finally eat something. I didn't eat today, so I was pretty much, well, starving.

I grabbed my fork/spoon and licked my lips again, seeing the delicious [fav/food] standing up front of me. I waved my hand in front of me, closing my eyes; I have to control myself. I gently put the silver spork/spoon down and gently enwine my hands, looking at BEN. I smiled, reciving a small smile in return. I looked deep into his shiny red orbs, amazed by how fascinating they looked.
