*A week later*

Athena heard a tiny knock on her bedroom door. She didn't want to get up, she had been staying in her room for almost a week, not even leaving to train. She could feel something in the pit of her stomach, she knew the girl that was knocking. She swung her feet to hang off the bed before forcing herself up. The floor was cold but felt great considering how long she was under the covers. "Coming, Kiara." She said while slowly walking to the door. The two haven't spoken since the incident. Kiara tried every day though. She needed to know her sister. Athena opened the door to see the redhead. She looked very casual. Her hair was in a small ponytail, strands sticking out everywhere because her hair wasn't too long anymore. She wore a white shirt and black leather pants that looked a bit too big.

She gave an awkward wave, "Hey, Athena."

She could feel the nervousness radiating off of the girl, "Hello." She wasn't used to talking to people, let alone family. "What uh, what brings you by?" She wasn't annoyed at her, just didn't know why she couldn't get the space she needed to grieve.

Kiara scratched at the back of her neck. "Well, I didn't know Christina very well, but I know you two were close. She raised you right?"

"Yes." The brunette looked down at her feet.

"It's never easy losing someone, especially family. I just want you to know that I'm here if you need anything. I mean, what else are sisters for if not to be there for one another." She gave an awkward smile. "I mean, that's what I hear at least."

Athena smiled at this. Sister, she thought. Sometimes she would forget about that, it seems so foreign. She would like to get to know her though. "Did you want to come in?"

"Yes!" Kiara said a little too eager before clearing her throat. "I mean," she was much more calm now, "That would be cool, yeah."

Athena chuckled as she moved aside to let the girl in. They did look a lot alike. Same build, stance, face structure, Now that she is looking at her for more than a few seconds, they could almost be twins.

They sat across from each other, Athena pouring two cups of red wine. "Jordan tells me you don't drink," Kiara said, concern in her voice.

"Yeah well, I think I can get away with it this once. All things considered."

"Right, sorry." She said before she took a big sip of the wine. "So." Kiara wanted this moment so much. She just didn't know what to say.

"So." Athena smiled before taking a small sip of her drink. "What is your story?" Athena had no idea how to start the conversation either.

"That's a lot." She said with a chuckle. "Um, I never knew our parents. Aunt Roux raised me. I get memories sometimes. Some kind of spell Krea did to me before the end of the war. I can't control when it happens though."

"Do you ever hear them?"

"Yeah actually. They come out of nowhere mostly. I've seen Krea before when Charlie had me and Lily locked up."

"I didn't know she did that. That must've been hard."

"I mean, I don't feel much from it anymore. Anytime I close my eyes, I find myself back there. What they did to me and Lily is unforgivable. And for what? Some sadistic wench holding a grudge for like 25 years? It is crazy that someone can do that."

"I'm sorry you had to go through that. How do you and Lily know each other?"

"Well, we met in Hayland. Didn't get to know each other until Charlie and Kevin attacked. We've been together since." Kiara looked down, "not much anymore. I thought we had something, but she doesn't feel the same."
