Dream shut his eyes closed, gritting his teeth harshly as he can, as he felt the wind forcefully passed his body. He was falling down from the sky, where a portal had opened from below him. He doesn't have any idea on who made the portal below him, nor he wasn't prepared for it either. He wasn't prepared for any of this, all he knows that he was falling down to his own doom. How was he supposed to save himself?
His powers weren't working either, after he have almost used his magic that he preserved, knowing that he at least have to save some of his magic if he had to ran away with the others in case it didn't go as they planned. And he predicted it right, nothing had went accordingly as they planned. Ink was missing, while Dream had sent Swap to save some of the unaffected citizens by Nightmare's wrath to go at Core's place, just to ensure their safety. They weren't able to save most of the AU's c inhabitants, but Swap had already gathered majority of the citizens, and was now currently at Omega timeline, all that was left was Dream, who had fairly stood up his ground against his brother.
That was until a portal opened below him, and here he was falling down in a random universe. Dream doesn't have any idea on where he was, yet he knows that he was in a surface universe, where the Sans was peacefully living above the surface. He could assume that this universe had either taken a 'Pacifist' or 'Neutral' route which was commonly made by Frisk.
This was the perfect universe for Dream to take a break, before going back to the Omega timeline to check on Swap before hopping into another universe before Nightmare could have a lead on where Dream was. He was just going to stay for awhile, gain back his magic and energy, then he'll be back on helping the others.
He could only hope that Swap took too heart on taking a break, before going back on the battlefield with Ink. They don't even know where Ink was, and the protector was on the loose. Finding Ink in a multiverse filled with hundredths of AU was impossible for Swap, who have no ability to hop into another reality without the help of Ink or Dream, hence why Dream had assigned Swap to evacuate the citizens, in hope that Swap would take a break while he was away.
Dream unsummoned his bow and arrows, deciding to reserve the little magic he had with him. It was just enough for him to teleport to some places, but never enough to open up a portal back at the Omega timeline. And right now? He should be preserving his magic, rather than blindly using it. Dream took a deep breath, looking from left to right, calculating where he should land at.
There were a lot of buildings no matter where he looked at, and most of them were big and shiny. None of the smaller buildings that Dream found in the few surface world that he had been to before, which was just about 3 surfaces AU that Dream visited. This universe seemed far more advanced than the world's that Dream visited, and not in it's own way. This universe was far different from what he had seen before.
This universe had its own beauty and uniques. It made him wonder just what type of universe this was, or let alone if this was just a mere copy?
Maybe he should use it to his own advantage?
Dream quickly for any possible near building that he could land on, with the wind hitting his face. He could have sworn that breathing at this moment for any humans would be difficult, with how fast he was falling. Would he die because of this?
Honestly he didn't know, he never really wanna find out what would happen if a human would still live if they fall from a high place like this. If anything that wouldn't meant anything good, and that would only mean that the human was suicidal or someone wants to kill. And he would rather not consider the possibility of a human 'falling down due to an accident because of their stupidity' just because they were standing too close to the edge.
Dream would rather not think of that, it was rather something he didn't wanna deal with.
A soft sigh left his mouth, as he clutched the fabric of his cape. Dream pursed his mouth into a thin line, looking and calculating his landing where it wouldn't take much of his magic if he teleported there. He click his tongue out of habit, when he realized that he wasn't falling down that as fast as he thought he was before.
