It was the Friday after school and tonight was the bonfire! I was so excited to let my worries go and hang out with my friends. I'm a Pogue and so are all my friends expect Sarah. She's dating John B so she's getting there. Thankfully we all get along. It was a little rockey between Sarah and Kie in the beginning but it's all good now. Anyways I was driving home and decided to go to the country club where JJ works. I missed that fucker at school today since he didn't show. It wasn't a long drive though it was on the opposite side of the island. I parked my truck and walked in. I saw the normal hostess standing at the entrance. I gave a smile and made my way to find JJ.

As I searched for him I saw Topper and Rafe. Things are kinda weird between Sarah and Topper since she dumped him for John B, makes sense but still weird. I wave a him and he just nodded. When I continued walking and Rafe called out to me.

"Hey y/n come here! I wanna say what's up." He yelled. Oh god I'm not sure what he wants but he's probably high or drunk. I walked over to the bar where the two boys were sitting.

"Uh hi..." I said super confused why he wanted to talk to me.

"So y/n do you know where Sarah is?" Rafe asked me placing his hand on my waist. Ew what the fuck.

"I don't know why don't you text her yourself. She's your sister not mine." I spat at him. I knew Sarah was with John B but why the fuck would I tell him that. He sighed at my comment and he probably knew I was bullshitting him. He shook his head but I had things to do.

"Well I'm going to go now... bye" I removed his hand and began to walk away to find JJ.

"You look cute today for a Pogue." Rafe laughed sipping his drink making Topper giggle. I kept walking and flipped him off. I'm not going to give him too much attention he thrives of that shit. I kept looking around for JJ when I spotted his blond hair.

"JJ! I missed you today!" I squealed hugging him. He returned the favor and planted a small kiss in my cheek. This wasn't a weird behavior for him. It isn't meant to be romantic or anything just something sweet.

"Hey y/n whatcha doing here?" JJ asked.

"Well I didn't see you at school and I wanted to make sure your coming to the bonfire tonight. You weren't answering your phone so I came here!" I explained.

"Ya of course I'll be there wouldnt miss it." JJ had to go to work so I started making my way out. Unfortunately I had to walk past Rafe on my way out.

"Y/n I'll see you tonight at the bonfire tonight with your boy JJ huh?" He continued to yell as I walked out. I ignored him. As I walked out to my truck, I got a text from Sarah asking if I wanted to get ready at her place before the bonfire. I made my way to her house. I let myself in and ran up the stairs to her room.

"Heyyy girl!" I screamed as I walked into her room.

"Hey y/n! You excited for tonight?" Sarah asked pulling me into a hug.

"Hell ya dude. I'm excited to drink tonight!" I exclaimed. We decided to start getting ready for tonight. I decided to wear black ripped jean shorts with a belt and a tan tank top that came up to my neck. As we were in her room I decided to go out and get my debit card from my truck, probably shouldn't have left it there. As I was digging in my truck I heard a dirt bike pull up next to me. I looked up and saw Rafe with his helmet on. He began to park the bike and take off his helmet. His hair was a little messy from the helmet but it was hot not gonna lie. I decided to let his comments by from earlier since he was drunk.
