Early morning broke within The Beach and I found myself rolling out of bed. My limbs were aching from the previous game that I had taken part in. I needed the day in order to recover for the night's game. I could not let myself slip at all. I had enough injuries from past games and I needed no new ones. I began doing my morning stretches, this was a time I could spend to myself. To sort my nerves and my adjust my mindfulness. After months doing these games, time to spend which would allow me to think and clear my mind was one of the things that kept me going. If it were not for that I doubt I would still be able to. Along with that, Chishiya and Kuina kept me alive. Often we had relied on each other to survive games too.
I finally found my way to the shower, spending time washing myself fully. All the grime of the previous night that I had not yet sorted. Washing my hair slowly. The warm water seemed to cool some of the aches that were coursing through me. I was not sure of the time but I needed to get food soon too so I got out of the shower, wiping the steamed up mirror to look at myself, pulling at my eye a little and chuckling to myself. I dried myself off and went through my wardrobe, looking at my variety of swimsuits and bikinis. I finally chose one, also slipping a black jacket over me as well. I braided my hair before finding some sunglasses and finished the look with some combat boots that I owned, though I put them to the side for now waiting to put those on until we went out for games that night.

I headed out my room and towards the cafeteria area. I wanted a big breakfast. I was hungry. I decided on waffles and bacon and some eggs and sat down, eating. I sat alone though there were not that many awake it seemed. I managed to eat quickly with no distractions and also got a cup of coffee, now leaving to sit outside. If nobody was about, I could sit for a bit longer with my own thoughts and feelings.
It was not too long before people were appearing from their rooms, it was strange but with all these people around it made it hard to remember that we were actually in an empty world. The loudness of the people and the way they party made me think about the old Tokyo. I sighed, looking around, finishing the coffee and making my way back inside. Without the games there was not much to do. During the day I often worked out, swam a little or spent time with Kuina and Chishiya. The other thing I usually did was head to the executive meetings, one of which we had today.
