Chapter Ten: Recruiting Arisu and Usagi

I woke up, moving to shift however found I was firmly in the grips of Chishiya. I looked down to see his arms around my waist, I looked over to look at him, his hair had fallen into his face while he was sleeping and it looked messy but to be honest the messy look was right for him. He was snoring,not too loud but I could still hear it. This made me laugh a little, though I did not want to disturb him so I looked away, snuggling myself backwards, further into his arms.  I was glad that this movement didn't wake him up. I closed my eyes again, I felt so comfortable just laying there and having safety and warmth behind me. 

My mind began racing over the events the previous day, the game with Chishiya, being slapped by Niragi and then Hatter and his meeting. On top of this we now had Arisu and Usagi both here and they had seemingly proved their place in The Beach. The next steps of our process were to recruit them and see how they could help us, Chishiya would of course have the fine print for the planning but I wanted to be able to help out as much as possible as well. 

I felt movement behind me while in the middle of this thought and heard Chishiya groan softly. His arms slowly moved from me and I turned again to look at him. He was staring at me, his eyes filled with early morning tiredness. There was a few seconds before he finally sat up and smiled to me, though this was a very sleepy smile. It was cute in all honesty. I moved and propped myself up more, not fully sitting up but I had to wake myself up by not just laying in the same position. Chishiya stretched, slowly waking up more and more. He paid no attention to how his hair was scruffy, instead he ran a hand through my hair which was probably far messier. 

"Good morning Y/N...how did you sleep?"

His voice was low and somewhat croaky due to him waking up not long ago and this voice was oddly attractive, I spent a moment just staring at him, almost not registering what he had just said. It was only when I saw his raised eyebrow that I cleared my throat and smiled. 

"I slept well...I don't actually remember falling asleep, I have just been thinking about stuff that happened yesterday. ..everything. You know? I don't know if I should be thinking so much on it but I can't help."

Chishiya nodded and shifted out of the bed, looking out the window before turning back towards me. I saw the softness to his eyes and I also followed him out of bed just to give him a soft kiss on the lips. He didn't react at first but soon moved a hand to gently hold my cheek. When I pulled back he kept his hand there, stroking my cheek with his thumb before pulling away and walking to the bathroom. I sat on the bed, crossing my legs and humming to myself. I wasn't sure where the song came from in my mind but I continued anyway until Chishiya returned. 

"We need to get Arisu and Usagi on board today before it is too late. We should find Kuina and then at least Arisu as soon as possible. He is the important one."

Straight down to business, this is kinda what I liked about Chishiya. Something about him made me think he was always like this...even before. This whole time I felt like I recognised him from somewhere in all honesty though this I was not certain of. I just nodded along to his words before heading to the bathroom myself. I had to shower and change at least. We were in Chishiya's room so I would have to ask him to get me clothes while I was showering...

"Chishiya?!"

"Yes love?"

"Could you go get me some clothes from my room?"

"Sure, anything in particular?"

"Anything you want!"

"Okay...if you are sure."

With that I heard footsteps and then him leaving the room. I chuckled a little and hopped into the shower. The water was left on a cold setting which made me shriek a little in surprise before sorting out the temperature accordingly. I spent what felt like half an hour in the shower, most of it just spacing out and staring at the wall. When I eventually got out, I wrapped myself in a towel, tying it so it would not fall down, before leaving to sit on the bed again, plaiting my hair and doing my makeup . Chishiya finally reentered the room, seeing me in the towel and raising his eyebrow with a little smirk. He brought the outfit over and placed it next to me on the bed before turning away and staring out the window. Respectful of privacy. I smiled at this and stood up, getting into the clothes he had given me, surprised slightly at what he had chosen, though not mad. It was actually prettier than I expected. Along with that he had left one of his many jackets with the outfit. I was convinced his wardrobe was full of them at this point.
