The Wolf Affair

Chapter 2 The modern world

(Alex's POV)

I had a real Werewolf in my room right now. I was kind of freaking out...Ok maybe a lot! It's not every day you must SNEAK someone into your house! "Here, you could wear some of my clothes." I said, handing Akira a black t-shirt, some jeans, and a blue hoodie. After a minute she stepped out of the closet. Her eyes were like a child eating candy for the first time. "They're so comfy!" I couldn't help laughing at how happy she sounded.

She looked around my room and her gaze fell on my open laptop sitting on my desk. "What's that?" she asked, walking up to it. "Thats my laptop, it can do a lot of things." I said walking over to it. For a second I could tell she flinched as I stood next to her. "Watch." I said turning it on, I watched as her ears went up with curiosity.

I opened the search bar and typed in 'Pictures of wolves' and hit images. Her face lit up in curiosity as I scrolled through the results, "See, you can also do a lot more too." I looked at her face and almost laughed. Her eyes were big and filled with curiosity. I wondered if the rest of the wolves were back too.

(Asher's POV)

I felt cold. I couldn't tell how long it had been, but it had been a while. The last thing I had seen was Leo, He was reading the spell and I wasn't in time to stop him. I didn't save everyone, I was mad. First at myself then at Leo. Suddenly I heard voices. They were faint and far away, but my sharp hearing could make out what they were saying.

"Are you sure he's here, Axe?" said one of the voices, it sounded familiar. It sounded female. "He's here just look." said the second voice, male. They kept talking and getting closer. "I found him!" Said the girl voice, was she right Infront of me? "Thank Ivy, He's not damaged." said the guy coming to stand with the girl. 'Are they talking about me? Why would they be looking for me?' I thought. Suddenly I felt something touch my face, 'I didn't know I could feel things.' I thought.

"We need to do the spell lu, now. Before the humans see us." said the guy. "Right." I heard the girl pull something out of a bag. After a minute I felt weird and started to black out. I suddenly felt warm, like I wasn't stone any more. I felt hands touch my hair and heard one of the voices whisper in my ear. "Don't worry dad, you're okay now." Then I blacked out.

(Luna's POV)

We had him back! I felt tears in my eyes, I couldn't help it. Our dad was alive and right here. I finally felt him relax and knew he was deep in sleep. "How's he doing?" Axle asked from the front seat of the car. Yeah car, we had been awake for 4 years and Axle, who was 25, learned how to drive to make it easier to get around. "He's fine, he finally relaxed." I saw Axle looking at dad through the rear-view mirror. "You're happy we found him." I said, reading his face.

The thing about Axle is he may be the oldest but he's the softest. He loves our father the most, he may not show it though. "He was muttering in his sleep. Did you hear him." Axle said looking away. "I did. He was having a nightmare about the war." I said feeling dads ears twitch. I looked at him and saw his eyes.

He looked at me and for the first time in my life I saw he was vulnerable. His face was scared from fights I never saw, his right eye was blind and dull. He looked in my eyes and I could tell he knew me even if I looked different.

My long white hair like mom's braided back, red eyes just like his with round blue glasses. "L-Luna...." He muttered almost not moving his lips. "Hey, Dad." I said putting my hand to his face. He flinched back a bit, and I knew he was scared. "No no, it's ok! I'm not gonna hurt you dad." He closed his eyes and leaned closer to me, falling back to sleep.
