I ran over the orange-y grass near The Citadel. People were shooting the blades of an Ex-Caliber rifle at me, and I was 90% sure that a couple had blown up close enough to burn me. I did feel a burning sensation around my ankles, but I didn't stop in fear of one of them hitting me.
Lord help me! Why is it always me?
I grumbled to myself as I heard the splash of multiple blades crashing into the water and blowing up.
Then, it was followed by a louder splash that made me turn around.
I was quick enough to see a bright blue blur throw all the people chasing me into the lake too. I gaped at the guy, who gave me a brief glance and dip of his head before disappearing.
"Hey wait!" I called, running forward, but it was too late. He was gone.In all honesty, I've been trying to stir up trouble recently, to see if that hot guy would come back again. And eventually, he did.
And I got to talk to him this time!
"Wait!" I called, "please!"
He turned around, pure blue eyes staring calmly down at me. And yes, he was taller than me. Whether it be because he is tall, or because he is levitating, I don't know.
"Yes?" He asked.
"I just wanted to say, thank you, for helping me. I really appreciate it. What's your name?" I said to him. He lightly smiled.
"I'm Nezumi, what about you?"
"(F/n), it's a pleasure," I responded, holding out my hand, which he grabbed and shook.
That was the beginning of a treasured friendship.Or something more, given time.
I'm pretty sure he can read minds. This is a problem for me, because I think of some...um...awkward situations about him.
So to try and not think about him while he was close enough, I would think about the most random things ever. He probably thinks I'm the weirdest person alive."Do you want to go on a date with me?" He blurted out suddenly, breaking the awkward silence. I jolted up, a grin immediately spreading across my face.
"Absolutely!" I responded, probably too quickly and sounding way too eager.
To my surprise though, he chuckled at that.
"Where do you want to go?" He asked.
"Uhh....do want to get some Boba Tea?"He snapped his fingers, teleporting us both to a Boba Tea Cafe.
I grabbed his arm, and dragged him inside the shop. We ordered our drinks, to which they had many options then sat at one of the tables in the corner.
"I never expected you to like Boba," he chuckled, watching me gulp down my drink.
"To be honest, I would've thought you'd prefer Slap Juice," I responded evenly, tilting my head to the side.
"Nope. Im all for Boba," he responded, popping his p. I smiled.
"Isn't everyone?"We've come a good way. Whether it be make-out sessions or going on dates we were pretty much always together.
But until now, I had never seen him without his hair a-light.
I gaped at him, though he couldn't see it because his hair was completely covering his eyes.
"That is adorable," I giggled cutely, flicking his hair. He huffed.
"I'm glad you think so," he grumbled, crossing his arms across his chest. I kissed his cheek.
"Aww, is this your new morning hair?" I chuckled. He blew his hair out of his eyes.
"Absolutely not."Sorry this is a short chapter. He has like, no lore.
