I grinned at the man next to me.
"I'm going for a walk in the woods tonight, do you want to come?" I asked excitedly.
Fire's eyes widened.
"Uh it's a full moon tonight isn't it?" He asked.
I raised my eyebrow.
"Yes...? Why does that matter?" I asked in confusion. He shifted.
"Um....maybe you should go on your walk another night....it's dangerous," he mumbled.
I waved my hand.
"No it isn't. It's not like im going to get eaten by a werewolf!" I chuckled nonchalantly.
He recoiled, and awkward look on his face.
"Oh, I bought you something by the way," I chirped, handing him a bag.
He tilted his head and dug his hand into the bag, pulling out a navy blue scarf with stars on it, and a charm of the moon hanging from it.
"Thought it suited you, with your weird obsession with the moon, Dire," I chuckled jokingly. He chuckled.
"Thank you, (F/n). I'll be wearing this a lot, it's too cold out," he grinned a toothy grin. A really sharp toothy grin, with a mouth of teeth that were all as sharp as his canines.
"You're welcome, but I'm going to go home now, its getting near dinner time!"

I ate my dinner, that consisted of pasta and chicken. Of course I was still going on my walk in the woods, despite what Dire had said.
It was a bit more scary without him though, and it was very dark. I jumped at every crunch of a leaf and whoosh of the wind.
A wolf howled, and I nearly jumped out of my skin. I grunted, but continued walking through the trees. Then it howled again, and I looked around.
It sounded....closer this time.
I turned on my phone torch, then screamed as a large, furry creature jumped out of the bushes with glowing orange eyes.
I scrambled backwards, backed up against the base of a tree, the beast towering above me.
A freaking werewolf.
"Guess I was wrong...." I muttered, but narrowed my eyes as I saw the scarf wrapped around its neck.
"Dire...?" I asked, slowly getting up and walking closer. I held my arms up as the fluffy beast snarled and backed away a few steps.
It's ears pricked, and I gently placed a hand on its head. It was soft, so incredibly soft, and gentle, almost as if even as a wolf Dire could recognise me.
His eyes glowed at me, and he drew a lick along my hand.
"Cmon, I'll take you to my house buddy," I said, beginning to walk away.

"Alright I only have one bed, so we're going by have to share unless you would prefer the floor," I stated. He grumbled in response, and jumped into my bed next to me.
"You are very warm like that, Dire," I muttered as the large wolf hugged me from behind with its soft arms. He grunted in response and cuddled up to my back.
I huffed and closed my eyes, drifting off to sleep in Dire's soft fur.

I awoke with a yawn, not feeling the soft fur anymore. Dire was human again, and still hugging me. It was nice feeling him hug me, his face rested in my neck gently, and I could feel his breath.
I twisted my head around when I felt him stir, and stared blankly as our faces were mere inches away from each other.
"Morning," I said, grinning lightly. He blinked in confusion, and looked around.
"So you're a werewolf?" I chuckled. He burned dark red from embarrassment.
"What are you embarrassed for? You were sooo soft as a wolf...." I purred dreamily. He huffed, tilting his head to the side. I rolled around, and hugged him, causing him to blush once more.
"Well, you're soft as a human too," I mumbled.
He pulled back by a mere inch, making our lips almost brushing against each other.
I leaned forward, and gently pressed my lips against his, still hugging him tightly in the process.
"You're much softer, (F/n)."
