After driving from an amusement park, Xiara and Leo got to the condo quietly. Few people were walking through the hallway, so Xiara's heels could be heard as she walked.
"Are you sure this is what you want? Still, I can take you to your house. If you're worried about your car, I'll call my driver and have it brought to your house. What do you think? I'm not pushing you to make this decision quickly," Leo asked the girl carefully.
They were close to the young man's condo, which made Leo think twice about what Xiara wanted to happen. He didn't know that she might have been shocked earlier, so she decided to sleep in his unit right away.
"Leo, I'm fine with staying the night at your place. It's getting late for me to go home. Why? I don't see any problems with that. Unless you don't want me there. Is this your reason? If yes, I have no other choice but to leave," Xiara explained while she looked at him.
She slowed down a little and turned to face the man so she could look him in the eyes. Leo quickly shook his head and pushed the girl toward the door of his unit by grabbing her back. He has no other choice. After all, Xiara was right; it was too late to drive now.
"If that is what you really want, you can stay in my unit tonight. Let's go because it's a little chilly in the hallway. You might get a cold if we stay longer," Leo invited Xiara warmheartedly to his unit.
Leo immediately opened the door to his unit, and he and Xiara went inside together. The young man's clean and well-organized belongings were shown to the girl. She didn't think that this was what she would find in Leo's unit.
"Gosh, Leo! The way you keep your house clean isn't something that I know about. I think your unit is even neater than mine. Men like you are rare to find. Gosh, how did you manage to keep this place clean?" Xiara said with amusement.
Xiara walked slowly as she looked around, and she couldn't help but think about what this place was like, her home. The black and white paint on the wall makes her really want to know more. Just by looking at the house, you can tell that a man lives there. The vibe was kicking in her heart, and she couldn't resist it.
"I'll get you something to drink. Just hang in there. You get to do what you want. Coffee or tea, which will it be? Don't worry, because it's free. I won't send you a bill when you leave my unit," Leo said, and he smiled a little.
Leo made Xiara sit on the sofa before she could choose what she wanted to drink. He also turned on the air conditioner in the living room. This made the girl look at him in surprise.
"Wow, Leo! You rushed me into your condo earlier because it was cold in the hallway, and now you're going to turn on the air conditioner? But go ahead and drop it. Since you are the one who will pay for the electricity, who am I to say no to? And for my coffee, don't add too much sugar. Thanks!" Xiara said happily.
Leo turned to go make her some coffee in the kitchen. The young man didn't take long to come back with a white cup of coffee on a small plate.
"Here's a cup of coffee for you. Watch out, it's hot. You could burn your tongue and then say it was my fault. I'm going to take a shower right now. Just put the cup down in the sink when you're done," Leo said before excusing himself and entering his room.
Xiara sipped her coffee quietly and couldn't help but smile because Leo had made it just the way she liked it. Still, she couldn't believe that Leo knew how to clean. She thought at the time that this was what a prince's life was like, but she was wrong.
"There is still a lot I don't know about you, Leo. You never fail to surprise me. Don't worry, because I'll make sure that joy comes back into your life before I leave this world. Keep this in mind," Xiara said quietly to herself.
Leo was done quickly and wore a white shirt and thick shorts when he left the room. He was holding a toothbrush and a white towel, which he gave to the girl right away.
"I know that you are sweaty. You can take a shower in my room. By the way, I have oversized shirts there. If you don't want them, I'll call the guard to buy you clothes at the department store. Feel yourself at home, don't be shy," Leo strongly insisted to Xiara.
Xiara quickly shook her head before taking the towel that was being given to her. "I have a bag in my car. Can you get this for me? I have more clothes and garments inside. Do me a favor, if you please. I'm going to have a shower," Xiara asked with a smile.
Leo was unable to refuse Xiara's request. He put on a jacket and then slowly walked to the parking lot. Xiara got off the couch and went straight into the young man's room to wash herself up.
Xiara watches Leo's clean room in silence. Leo seemed to have a lot of time to clean his house, which made her feel embarrassed. Given she's a woman, this doesn't happen very often in her home.
"Get well, Xiara! Take a shower. Stop thinking about Leo's house and start thinking about your own. You and Leo are different, so stop being jealous of how he cleans and do what you need to do," she told herself strongly.
She went straight into the shower room while shaking her head. She didn't have to call Leo because shampoo and soap were already there. She also smelled the young man's favorite soap inside. When she touched Leo's soap, she almost hit herself.
"Gosh, Xiara! You are out of your mind. Are you lusting after Leo? No, stop it. Fix your thoughts and just take a damn shower. Gosh! You are unbelievable!" she whispered to herself.
Xiara stopped thinking about Leo, and she was able to do that until she was done with her shower. She used the towel that was given to her to clean herself, and then she made it into a body cloth.
When she came out of the bathroom after taking a shower, she saw the bag she had asked him to put on Leo's bed. He was so nice to her that Xiara couldn't help but smile. Still, Xiara couldn't believe that Leo has been slowly starting to change.
"You are very kind, Leo," she whispered, even though the man wasn't inside, before taking clothes out of the bag.
Xiara was getting ready to put on clothes when she saw a picture frame. It was put on Leo's study table, which was right next to his bed. She walked up to it slowly, and when she saw the picture, her jaw almost dropped.
"Oh my gosh! Is this what I'm seeing for real?" Xiara said in disbelief.
She held the picture frame carefully, and she was right to think about what she did. The necklace pendant that Leo has is the same as in this picture. Since this is what she saw, she can't go wrong.
"Could it be that this woman is the cause of all the sadness in Leo's life? Is she the only thing that matters?" As Xiara looked at the picture, she couldn't help but wonder.
Xiara sat up a bit on the bed and looked at the picture in the frame for a while. The door opened, but she didn't notice. Just as she was about to let go, she heard Leo's voice.
"Xiara, what took you so long? I was just—"
When he saw her holding the frame, he didn't finish what he was going to say. Leo ran quickly to where she was sitting and grabbed the picture frame quickly.
"Have you thought about what you're doing? Why do you keep messing with my things? What if it gets broken? Do you know how much I care about this picture? Watch out, it's hot. This is the last thing I remember about my mom," Leo said in a firm voice after taking what was his.
