Emilia's POV
"Emilia, I can help you save the Steves!" I look at him, "Only if you stay as safe as you can but how? I don't know much about this world or Red Steve's job." He nods, "Red Steve talked about his job every so often." I tilt my head, "That makes sense you guys are close, so you know bits and pieces of this stuff?" I ask.
"I know enough to help trust me," Orange Steve really wants to help... "I don't know Orange Steve, we legit just met like ten to fifteen minutes ago..." I really don't want him to get hurt.
"I can show you! Wait here!" With that, he ran out the door and closed it 'What is he going to do?' I thought, after like 30 seconds I heard thunder rumble. "Orange Steve?!?" I called out to said, Steve as I ran outside.
I look around in front of Orange Steve's house, 'What was that tho?' "Emilia!! Come on!!" I look at Orange and follow after him. We walked behind his house, and I saw an orange-colored beacon.
"Can you go stand on it?" Orange asked me and I looked at him confused, "Ummmm... Okay?" I walked onto the stone and partially in the beam of orange light. "Okay, I'm on it-" Lightning started to roar. "Orange Steve?!?! What's happening?!?" I was shocked.
After a few seconds, I'm now in a valley-like place with different color rings, that kinda resalable portals. Where I'm standing kinda looks like a town center with stone paths to the rings. And there's a huge white statue with a multi-colored face.
After a few minutes of looking, Orange Steve comes in, "Orange Steve, what is this?!" I ask him, he smiles, "This is the Rainbow hub! I kinda built it for you!" I smile, "Isn't that a bit much? We just met, and did you make this in 30 seconds?!?" I ask him.
"Is that like something you can always do? And how is this even possible?!? Is this what Orange Steves are capable of?!" I ask 'Man, I haven't seen this kind of magic in years.' I thought. "No, I'm kinda tired now," He replies I nod, "Fair, but how?" I ask him, he shows me a stone pickaxe, "With these!" I look at him, "Those are stone tools... and you made this place?" I ask him.
"Yea!" He seems really happy and is looking tired, "Oh before I forget, what are those rings?" I ask him, "They are portals!" Knew it. "Why aren't they active?" I ask him, "They only activate when steves of that color are in danger," Orange explains to me.
"How did you connect the portals to the color Steves?" I asked Orange Steve, "You don't need to worry about that..." He replied, I nodded a bit, "Okay? Your really nice guy, Orange Steve! Oh, are you going to be sticking around, so I could possibly ask some questions, plus I don't know what to do if a portal activates, I would probably ask you to come with me on at least the first one...I'm just really kinda alone in this whole thing" I asked, Orange Steve, nods, "Yea, I will!"
I smile and nod, "Go and get some rest, you need it. If a portal activates I'll go get you and we'll go through together," I told him. He nods, "Alright..." he walks to the beacon and lightning strikes him as he teleports to his house.
I froze, "Can I even use that?" I flicked my tail, "I'll find out later..."
