9 - Another Baby?

A/N - A semi-big time skip, Vance and Finney on the topic of having another baby, and Bruce slowly getting closer to his estimated due date.

Finney and Vance watched as Gwen played with the twins, Dante and Silas had started to crawl around, the two hadn't touched on the topic of having another baby in a while, and the two wanted to have another baby.

But they hadn't talked about the topic.

"Vance?" Finney asked as the other buried his face in Finney's neck, humming against the skin.

"Do you think you'd want to have another baby?" Finney asked as Vance took his face out of his neck and rested his chin on Finney's shoulder.

"I do, I wouldn't mind having another baby. I mean seeing you—" Vance spoke but Finney quickly shut him up, feeling flushed at the comment, Vance laughed softly and kissed Finney's cheek.

Finney walked over to Gwen and the twins, as Vance walked over to the ringing phone, he picked it up calmly.

"Hello?" He asked as he then heard a panicked Robin on the other end.

"Hey! Vance, uhm, I—" Robin started but was cut off by a distant scream.

"Robin? What's going on over there? Is Bruce in labour right now? Do you need us to head over there?" Vance asked as he listened to Robin swallow harshly.

"Yeah? I think It's really early and—" Robin said but Bruce interrupted him.

"JUST GET OVER HERE PLEASE! HOLY FUCK!" Bruce shouted, Finney, perked up and looked at Vance's pale and shocked face.

"Vance? What's going on? Is everything okay?" Finney asked walking over to Vance.

"Bruce is going into labour, early, really early," Vance said simply.

"Well tell them we'll be there soon and they better have their shit ready to put in the car," Finney said and then Vance said that hanging up the phone and heading to the car, Finney walked over to Gwen and his children.

"Gwen, I need you to take the twins with you to our house, let dad have a few moments with his grandkids, Bruce needs some help right now and we're gonna be gone for a while," Finney explained to his sister, and she nodded.

"Pack them some things like bottles, dappers, clothes, and other things you think they would need, okay?" Finney told her and she was quick to do so, Finney looked at his babies, picked them up and gave them a kiss on their foreheads.

"Mama's gonna be gone for a while, so your gonna stay with grandpa and aunt Gwenny, be good for me okay?" He said as he put them down and walked out of the house, heading to the car with Vance, they both headed right for Robin's house.

- TIME SKIP -

The 4 made it to the hospital, and Bruce was taken into one of the many rooms, later a doctor came out to the 3.

"Mr Yamada has asked for all of you to be in the room." He said and so the 3 followed, Robin was panicked and nervous, and Finney did his best to calm him down.

Finney and Robin stood outside for a moment, Robin had actually started to panic, Finney placed his hands on Robin's shoulders, looking into the other's dark brown eyes which were glassed over with tears as he tried to catch his breath.

"Robin can you look at me for a second," Finney demanded, Robin tried his best to look Finney in the eyes.

"Bruce is going to be okay, Bruce is strong and you should know that better than away of us. He is going to be okay, sure bringing life into this world is hard, but after it is truly wonderful." Finney said, and Robin nodded.

"Now, let's get in there and be there for Bruce," Finney said as he looked at Robin, who once again only nodded and followed the other boy into the room.

Robin hurried to be at Bruce's side, offering a hand, and then having Bruce tightly grip it, panting.

"How much longer do I have to wait to get it out of me!" Bruce hissed and squeezed Robin's hand as he whimpered as a bit of pain hit him again.

- TIME SKIP TO AFTER THE LONG LABOUR AND BIRTHING PROCESS -

Bruce and Robin stared at their baby girl, she had Robin's tanned skin and Bruce's dark hair.

Both were in awe at how tiny she was as Bruce held her in his arms, she yawned slowly opening her eyes, which were the same dark shade of brown that Robin had.

"It's like a mini Robin," Vance said, Finney lightly slapped his shoulder.

"How do I give birth to her only for her to look like you," Bruce muttered as he looked from his daughter to Robin, who gave Bruce his shit-eating grin.

"I have strong genetics, what can I say?" Robin laughed kissing the top of Bruce's head and then hearing the baby giggle with Robin.

"What are you going to name her?" Finney asked as he looked at the couple.

"Mary," Bruce said, Robin didn't fight it.

Finney smiled looking at Mary, she gave a curious and unknowing look.

"Hello, Mary, I'm Finney, I believe that you're gonna call me uncle Finney and this is your uncle Vance," Finney said as he looked at the little girl, who eagerly grabbed at his finger when she saw the change too.

Amy, Aimi, and Kiyoshi walked into the room.

Aimi and Kiyoshi gave Bruce a soft smile as Amy eagerly ran up to her brother.

"Bruce! You're okay! You didn't tell us what was going on! I was so scared!" Amy called out as she jumped to her brother, Mary looked at Amy, the same confusion still on her face as she looked at her aunt.

"Amy, this is Mary," Bruce told his sister, who curiously reached her hand out to the baby's face, and Mary then let go of Finney's finger and tried to bite at Amy's hand, but didn't and just grabbed her finger.

"We're proud of you Bruce." Aimi smiled as she kissed the top of Bruce's head.

Bruce smiled softly as he looked up at his mother, and then at his baby.

- TIME SKIP AGAIN -

Bruce was finally back at home with Robin and the Arellanos, Finney and Vance made a stop at the Blake household, only to find that Tarrance had gone out leaving Gwen along with the twins.

Finney took Gwen and the twins back to the Hopper household, letting Gwen sleep in the guest room for the night.

Vance had his hands on Finney's hips, as Finney had his arms wrapped around Vance's neck.

Pulling Vance in for a kiss, as things slowly changed into more...

Vance slipped his hands under Finney's shirt and pushed it up, taking it off and slowly trailing kisses down Finney's neck, chest, collarbone, and stomach.

However, Finney felt slightly embarrassed as there was still a bit of fat left over from when he was pregnant with the twins, he had stretch marks now, and he felt insecure about them.

But Vance kissed each stretch mark with the same amount of love, Finney smiled, how did he end up getting so lucky?

A/N - So, I picked the name Mary for the baby, sorry if you wanted one of the other ones! The next chapter is going to be the aftermath of what they do offscreen because I physically don't feel like writing smut as I just published a chapter in another book that had smut in it[Stars which is a Rinney book]and I used all the motivation to write smut on that chapter, I hope you see where I'm coming from here?
