____I walked down the hallway nervously. How was I supposed explain to Mr.Cho where I was yesterday? I walked in the classroom during lunch, as I seen Insu already in there.
"Where were you and Yang Jungwon yesterday, mister Hwang?" Mr.Cho asked.
Insu rested a hand on his hip. "I'm sorry, Mr.Cho. We had a test in Mr.Kim's as well, so we decided to study for it instead. We both are really behind in English."
"You could have told me that, Insu. Next time come to me. This is not English it's mathematics." Mr.Cho nodded.
"We're sorry, Mr.Cho." I said stepping into the room.
"Oh, Jungwon. So you both have time during project hall tomorrow to come and see me?" Mr.Cho asked us.
"Yeah." Insu nodded and I did the same.
"Alright. Next time study English on your own time." Mr.Cho nodded at us before we both walked out taking a deep breath.
"Dang, that was close." I sighed out of relief.
"Yeah." he agreed.
I looked up at Insu. He had a smirk on his face and my lips slowly formed one as well. Insu picked me up inches off the ground hugging me tightly. "Did you see that, Yang." I chuckled softly. "Thanks for the Ramen yesterday by the way." He still had me in a hug as I heard a familiar voice.
"What the?"
Insu put me down awkwardly as he cleared his throat."Ah, Bang. Nishimura. What are you two doing here?" Riki and Hoon looked at us with furrowed eyebrows.
"Are you guys friends now or...?" Hoon started.
Insu rolled his eyes. "Of course not." I shook my head staring at the taller boy in confusion.
"Okay." Bang Hoon decided not to question anything else. I could tell he was confused that we were kind of getting along. "Hey, Insu. We're going to get food together later. Wanna come with us?" Hoon asked.
I forgot they were sort of friends. They don't really act like it...
"Sure, why not. What do you think, Yang?"
"Don't ask me, Hwang." I bumped his shoulder as I walked past him.
"Bold, Yang. Bold." Insu made sure to emphasize the last bold. Not sure why, but it didn't bother me that much. Hopefully... I'm still his "humble servant" until tomorrow, so we'll see.

I decided to take a walk outside. No one was around, so I sat down and inhaled the fresh spring air. It was the kind of air you just wanted to drink or drown in even though it was impossible. Fresh spring air just after it rained. Dewy and foggy. A kind of nostalgic feeling. I turned my head staring at the tall wired fence that separated us with the boys. I'm glad I can actually say the word boys in my head. Although, if headmistress Bae could read minds I wouldn't be surprised.
One more day until I have to go to the border. That day is tomorrow. The day I have been dreading all week. Why me? A question I ask myself frequently.
Why me?

FRIDAY, 10:30am
I walked past a bunch of other students, trying to avoid Insu at all times. The fountain turned on scaring me a bit. Why the hell was it off in the first place? I shook it off, until i seen someone walk from out behind it.
