Ch.2: Telling the Family

~time skip to Victor's birthday~

☆Victor's pov☆

It has been four weeks since I found out I was pregnant with Yuri's children. I am now eight weeks pregnant, and I still haven't told him, but I'm planning to tonight, as a Christmas present from me to him. I should probably tell the rest of the family too. Today, I had another ultrasound appointment with Dr. Tachibana, and she gave me a photo of the babies, which is the perfect way to surprise Yuri. So far, Minako and Dr. Tachibana are the only ones who know about my pregnancy. Minako drives me to my appointments, which are scheduled four weeks apart from each other. As Minako and I open the door to the hot springs, I see all of the katsuki family with the addition of the Nishigori family jump out and yell " HAPPY BIRTHDAY VICTOR!!" I was completely shocked. In Russia, we don't really celebrate birthdays very much, so this was a big surprise to me. looked around and saw Yuri in the middle of the crowd, holding something behind his back. "I know you don't really celebrate your birthday, but I couldn't just do nothing for it!" He spoke in a loving tone. He walked to me and put his hands on my hips as he pulled me in for a kiss.. Right now, nothing could go wrong, everything was perfect... But at that exact moment, the morning sickness kicked in... great... Right as our kiss ended, I made a beeline straight to the bathroom and kneeling before the toilet and throwing up.

☆Yuri's pov☆

Why did Victor just run off like that? I wonder what's up with him. Actually, for the past few weeks, he's been acting different. I ran to the bathroom and knocked on the door. I heard him throwing up in there, so I opened up the door, and kneeled down next to him, rubbing his back. I tried comforting him as best as I could, making him feel better. After he was done, I helped him stand up and I started to inspect him. He was way paler than normal and overall, there was something different about him. Not a bad different, but just...something new that I haven't seen yet. " Victor, are you okay, do you need to lay down?" I asked. He smiles, "I think it's time I gave you my Christmas present, " he walks out of the bathroom, but I hesitate to follow. How does him being okay link with a Christmas present? I then leave the bathroom and join Victor on the couch.We both sit down and everyone is looking at Victor except for Minako. My mother speaks up first, " Victor, are you okay? Why did you run off like that?" He smiles even wider,"The answer is in this envelope," Victor pulls out an envelope from his pocket and hands it to me. I open it up, and inside is... an ultrasound picture? What does it mean? "Well, what is it, son?" My father asks. " I don't know, it's an ultrasound picture..." I answered, still puzzled. I see out of the corner of my eye that one of the Nishigori triplets recording on their phone. "Victor, what does it mean?" "There's gonna be a new addition to our family." He said excitedly. I looked around. Everybody except Minako is confused right now, she is wearing a wide grin on her face, staring at Victor. She then speaks up, "Do you guys really not get it!? A new addition to the family, an ultrasound picture, him throwing up, connect the dots people!!!" She exclaimed. I then looked at Victor. He had a huge smile on his face, and had a hand on his stomach... "Okay, okay, I'll just tell you. A couple weeks ago, I wasn't feeling well. It started when I left to be with Makkachin. And now every morning, I feel the same way. That ultrasound is mine, Yuri. Thats our baby" he confessed. Wait... our baby?? What does he... Oh my god... "Wait, Victor, are you... pregnant!?" He nodded frantically. I looked at him, shocked, tears starting to form at the corner of my eyes. "We're gonna have a baby!?" I questioned in disbelief. Victor chuckled, "Yes! We're gonna have a baby in a couple of months!" He squealed while holding me in a tight embrace. I finally looked around at everyone. They all looked like they just saw a ghost, but Minako still had that grin drawn on her face. "Wait, Minako, you knew?" She nodded " I took him to the doctor's the day he found out!" I looked back at Victor, and saw his content face. I grabbed his hands and he looked at me. "Oh Victor, I'm so, so happy... wait, how are you pregnant, you're a man.. right?" He chuckled lightly. "Yes, I'm a man, Yuri. I don't know how I got pregnant either. " he stated. "Oh, and there's one more thing. I'm having twins!" It took me a moment to comprehend what he said, and my eyes widened. I looked back at the ultrasound picture, and noticed two little blobs. I saw Victor's elegant hand point out the babies. Our little bubble was popped when we heard, "CONGRATULATIONS VICTOR!!" From everyone else in the room. I heard Victor speak up, " Thank you guys for your support, I really appreciate it." He said with the most calm smile. I think it's time to give him his present.

☆Victor's pov☆

I saw Yuri get up from the couch, and stand in front of me. Now I'm the one that's confused. "Victor, since the day you showed up, I loved you. Your smile, your laughter, your everything, and I want to love you forevermore." He gets down on one knee and holds out a small box.. Don't tell me he's.."Victor Nikiforov, the love of my life, the mother of my children, will you be with me forever, as my husband?" My hands cover my mouth as unending tears fall from my eyes. " Yes! A hundred times yes!" I say in excitement, while holding out my left hand. He slid the beautiful ring on my finger and I started to cry even more. I gave him another hug, staying like that for a while.

(A/n: 1049 words. Idk why the f*ck I write so much piles of shit, and actually put my time in making sure there aren't any spelling errors,but it's either making this shitty fanfic than forking over 200 dollars, so yeah...)
