9. What a morning

Val's P.O.V

My eyes opened but I quickly closed them again due to the amount of sunlight in the room. I groaned from the huge headache that I had. My eyes trailed around the room and realized that this wasn't my room. I started freaking out and tried pulling my self from the soft sheets, but was restricted by two muscular tattooed arms. When I turned around I saw a boy with messy curly hair resting in the crook of my neck. When I look further back, I noticed it was Harry.

"Harry", I whispered.

I shook his arms but he didn't move. I even kicked his legs but he didn't wake up, not once. The only thing that I thought would wake him up was kissing his neck. I started leaving wet kisses down his neck.

"Hmm Val." he moaned.

I started to giggle loudly not minding the pain from my head. Harry opened his eyes wide and started to blush. He slowly pulled his arm away from my waist still embarrassed from what he said a few seconds ago.

"Good morning", he said with his raspy morning voice.

"Morning." I replied, still stuck on how hot his morning voice is.

The doorbell rang and Harry got up from the bed and went down the hall. I got up as well, leaning against the wall eavesdropping.

I heard a familiar voice coming from the door. My eyes widened, as sudden realization hit me as to who's voice it was from. Oh no it's Calum, I gasped. What is he doing here I questioned.

Harry's P.O.V

I opened the door not bothering to look through the peephole. When I saw who was at the door, my face covered an annoyed expression.

"Hey sorry to bother you, but have you seen my girlfriend? I have to talk to her and she's not home and her car isn't there." He explained.

"Ummm..." I turned around looking at Valerie giving me a worried expression.

"Wait, yea I saw Valerie going to her car and driving off, if I'm not mistaken I think she went to get groceries or something." I made up the first lie that came up to my mind.

"Oh okay, I'll just come back later then. Thanks anyways." He turned around and drove off.

I closed the door walking towards Valerie.

"I think you should go, you've got a boyfriend looking for you." I chuckled trying to hide my sad expression.

"Oh...yeah I should go but thank you for everything Harry, I really appreciate it." she grinned.

"You're welcome, anytime I'm your friend right." I faked a smile.

"Oh I should give your clothes back." She said looking down at her attire.

"No it's okay you can keep them." I shrugged.

"Thanks, I've got to go." she went passed me to the door and leaving with a smile.

If only she was mine...

Val's P.O.V

Fuck, I totally forgot about my car at the club, but when I looked at the street I saw my car parked a block away. I walked to my car and saw a note attached to the windshield.

"Woke up early to get your car. My advice is that if you're gonna get drunk, take a cab there."

I smiled at his generosity, I never knew he could be this nice. I parked my car in the drive way and entered my house. I hid Harry's clothes in one of the cabinets I don't use and changed into some comfy clothes and went to cook something to eat. I stopped when I heard a knock at my door. I wiped my hands with my light blue apron and walked to my door. Calum stood there rocking his body back and forth.

"Hey Calum, come in." I smiled.

Calum came inside looking around my house as if he wasn't here before.

"Oh hey Valerie I came for my phone I think I left it here." He said.

I was a bit surprised that he only came to get his phone, I thought he came for me. I don't understand what is happening to Calum and why he is acting this way.

"Yes you did I'll go get it." I said going to my room to retrieve it.

I grabbed his phone and saw that he got many text messages from Kat. Maybe this is why he wanted his phone, so he could text Kat. I blew the thought away and went to give Calum his phone.

"Here you go Calum." I handed it to him.

"Thanks babe I've got to go." He gave me a quick peck on my cheek.

"Oh I was just making lunch want to stay?" I asked.

"No I'm sorry I really have to go bye." he rushed out the door in a hurry.

I sat down and ate my dinner in peace just forgetting Calum and what he did just now. He always stayed for lunch and dinner sometimes, why not today?

My phone beeped, meaning I received a text.

Harry: want to come watch a movie with me?

I smiled and went to go get ready. I know I shouldn't go because I do have a boyfriend, but it's just two friends hanging out. Right?

Calum P.OV

"I had to clear things with Kat. I can't make her think I still like her. I want to make things right again, and that's exactly what I'm going to do. I'm going to make things right.
