(this part is from enid's pov)

everything is blurry, the last thing I can remember is going out to meet Ajax behind the greenhouse to watch the blue moon- then I think I wolfed out..??  I heard a noise and I saw this purpley-blueish creature approaching me, so I ran as fast as my wolf legs should carry me, until I 'dewolfed' and tripped. everything went blurry, my arm hurts so bad.. then- everything went black.

I awake and I begin to whimper as the pain fully kicks in. I hear branches crunching and then the footsteps get louder.

am I gonna die?

"Enid!" the familiar voice yells.

I feel their hands sit me up, my mind is a blur. I can't process anything. is this heaven?

"am... I dead?" I mumble.

"No, Enid I'm gonna get you help!"  the voice says.

I can finally make out who it is, my hero; Wednesday.

I can start to see clearly and I see Wednesday taking off her crewneck, revealing her white and black striped tee-shirt. she wrapped the crewneck around my arm.

I wince as she tightens it.

she observed me for any other wounds,

"HELP!! OVER HERE!" Wednesday yells at the top of her lungs, hoping to draw attention. were in the middle of the forest, I really doubt anyone will catch on.

"can you walk." Wednesday questions.

I shake my head no and point to my ankle.

"it hurts..."

"its twisted."

"I have an idea, thing. you stay with Enid. keep her awake. she lost a lot of blood. im gonna get help."

"can't you carry her? " thing signals.

"just listen to me, thing."

Wednesday runs off towards the school.

------

less than 10 minutes later Wednesday returns with two nurses.

happy tears form in my eyes.

i'm alive.

"she's lost a lot of blood." Wednesday says, as the nurses pick me up.
