As Aegon looked around at the people at his distant aunt Laena Targaryens water burial, he nearly instantly notices the newest addition to the Targaryen line, and looks at her with a slightly bored expression. She's not bad looking, he will admit that with an honest heart. Although the stare on her face that she was giving some other person he could not see at the burial was evidently going to leave, one if not more, marks on her face if she continued to do it. He was about to turn away from her, thinking of her to be another boring person in his ever breeding family, yet gave an amused chuckle when he saw her stomping on his uncle Daemon and her presumed fathers foot with no hesitation. Though he quickly shut up when his mother pinched him firmly and harshly on his arm to shut him up and remind him of his place. His eyes wandering back to the boring man and wishing he was back at home with Sunfyre, basking in the warmth in the clouds. The boring man and the burial itself was soon over though and everyone went back to the castle to discuss and catch up with the people they act like they haven't seen for years and years. Aegon and his brother strayed further to the back of the balcony everyone seemed to congregate to. His hand was occupied with a goblet of wine he had quickly snatched from a tray when moving to the corner. Aemond though was quiet. Simply deciding to watch the people as Aegon downed his cup.
"I heard mother and our grandsire talking." Aemond began, "It seems like they may decide to take advantage of our uncles newest bastard, and arrange with him to possibly force his hand so our newest cousin will marry one of us to keep the peace."
"Fuck the peace brother! I think if either one of us were to be married to that thing it'd kill us in our sleep by the next moon!" Aegon says with a sneer. "Still, it'd probably be better than marrying her." He continues pointing to Helaena who whilst deciding to follow the boys to the back of the balcony, had seemed to decide to ignore the two, and talk instead to what seemed to look like a thick black worm she had found in a small covered area.
"I would marry her... if only mother had decided to betroth us..." Aemond insists. Looking at his elder sister with a hidden soft expression and smile on his face as he watched her smile and whisper to the black worm in what seemed to be her own tongue.
"Be my guest brother! I doubt you would have any competition from anyone for her hand!" Aegon sneers before leaving Aemond for a jug of wine of which he previously saw a maid carrying, his cup quickly being emptied and needing a refill as quick as he could get.
Aegon decides to keep to himself for rest of the evening, staying close to the drinks so he could refill his cups whenever his emptied. Eventually he found a spot that both hid himself from the crowd of both supposed and genuine mourners above him, and kept him close to the previous wine that gave him such a lovely buzzing feeling throughout his whole body.
It was not till a couple hours later though, when someone finally did stumble upon him hidden to himself in the staircase heading towards the beach. It was the cousin he claimed would kill him or his brother if she was dared to be betrothed to them. He did not remember her name. He wondered if his utter twat of a brother had told him her name...Though he could hardly care at that moment anyways since he could only focus on the wine in his hand and the continuation of the buzzing throughout his body.
"Leave me!" Aegon demands with a heavy slur. Waving his arm in a dramatic motion causing the wine to go dangerously close to the edge and nearly spill on himself. His cousin only looked him with an amused expression and didn't budge from where she had first spotted him. "Fucking leave you wench!"

Alyssa only watches her cousin with an amused grin taking over her face. He was sort of amusing to look at. She remembered Daemon when he gave her a one on one lesson on her soon to be family. Aegon was the eldest yet most stupid as he was known to drown in his cups as naturally as a sailor sails the oceans. But still, at that moment he didn't seem like a bad drinking buddy. Regardless of the attempted insult he let out. Alyssa takes out the goblet she had on her side, revealing it to Aegon before walking over to him and sitting next to him. "I thought you could use a drinking buddy..." she jests as she takes the bottle of wine between them and fills her goblet. Before drinking heavily from it. She lets out a sly smile as she relishes in her cousins bewildered expression that was so plainly laid out for her to see.
"Shouldn't you be with Daemons spawns?" He questions, still with the slur being evident in his voice but still somehow being able to talk proper. Alyssa looked at him from her drink almost sadly before answering. "They are mourning their mother my cousin. I would not dare deprive them of that in this moment. They have their own family to be with..." Alyssa takes a heavier drink from her cup before refilling it again. It seems drinking is the way she has decided to mourn tonight.

The two cousins spend the rest of the afternoon and early night drinking, and only at the rare times conversing with each other. The words themselves though becoming more and more illegible the more the two drank. Although even with the drink it had seemed the two were getting along quite well. They even decided, as a spur of the moment idea, to go into the ocean. Aegon had sworn that since he, and technically Alyssa herself, had Velaryon blood running through their veins, the two of them would be able to breathe under the ocean as easily as a fish could.
Aegon and Alyssa though had quickly sobered up and realised how ridiculous the idea was, as the waves they had attempted to dive under brought them under and nearly choked them to death with its salty waters. Still, the two found joy in light of the situation and went back to their designated drinking spot and instead of drinking decided to simply bask in each others company and laugh at their previous stupidity.
After a while the two cousins began to grow weary, with Alyssa's still wet body leaning onto Aegon and eventually Alyssa's head had fallen onto Aegons equally sopping wet shoulders. Causing a weird feeling to erupt in Aegons chest making him frown slightly at it. Though that feeling was quickly forgotten about as Aegon succumbed to his tired state and fell asleep. The two cousins fast asleep, were unaware of Aemonds victory. Only dreaming of everything and nothing and holding onto each other fiercely. Head on head and hand on hand.
