As it turned out, it was harder to find Daemon Targaryen than Alyssa had initially hoped. Though with some sneaking around and talking to a few lowly maids residing in the castle with too big of ears, Alyssa found that Daemon and his family resided currently in Pentos which would mean Alyssa would need a boat... and someone to steer it.

The journey to meet her dreaded father was a tricky one. The hiring of a boat and sailor was something Alyssa feared she would not be able to accomplish due to her current and quite evidential lack of money. So she did the next best thing. She boarded a boat heading to Pentos and hid in some abandoned ship cargo. The journey was long and difficult to stay hidden throughout the whole journey. Granted, there were so many people onboard the small ship Alyssa was able to weave between the unknowledgeable people and grab food from the unacknowledged barrels. When she eventually did get to Pentos five days later, it was still nearly a day later when she even arrived at the castle Daemon was currently residing at. There was always a chance that since her journey Daemon could've already moved his family to somewhere else. Alyssa hopes the gods would be on her side tomorrow.

Alyssa looked at the castle with a nervous expression. She decided to wait till the next morn to confront Daemon of her existence as she was very tired from her journey and her legs were desperately cramped from being hidden in such a small space for hours on end.

When the morning did come after a long night of sleeping in an old alleyway Alyssa crept inside the castle with her heartbeat rapidly pounding inside her chest. She could almost imagine it echoing in the halls alerting Daemon already of her existence. As she walked through the halls however, a sudden voice from behind drew her out of her mind.

"Who are you?" A curious yet timid voice said. Alyssa turned around swiftly, thinking a guard has blown her cover, but was surprised to find it was a child who had discovered her. A child with hair like hers.

"I'm looking for Daemon Targaryen. Could you take me to him?" Alyssa asks with a neutral expression quickly taking over to hide her initial shock from the child's voice appearing out of no where. Alyssa hiding her anxiousness as-well as her shock.

"Why do you request to see my father?" The child asked with a still confused voice. Alyssa looked at the child, also now slightly confused. She was surprised the child did not put two and two together and realise she was a bastard of her fathers adulterous past. The hair itself was quite a harsh giveaway.

"I need to see him because I highly believe he is my father." Alyssa revealed. She was unaware of how this child would take it. She assumed the child was too a child of Daemons so she feared of what this child's reaction would be to having another sibling. Granted though, knowing of Daemons last there were no doubt tons of Targaryen Bastards scattered throughout the kings landing.

"Oh..." the child said with an equally matching shocked tone and face. They stayed silent for a while before looking at Alyssa with a more neutral expression. "How old are you?"

Alyssa looked at the child with small sympathy. She assumes the child wants to know if Daemon was loyal to her mother or not.
"Don't you worry princess. I was conceived before Daemon married your mother."

"Why do you call our father Daemon?" The child blurted. "If you truly are here to claim him as your father do you not think you would be more convincing if you were to call him your father?"

Alyssa chuckles as she looks at this oblivious child almost fondly. "I call him Daemon because even as a prince he has no true right for me to call him father. He has not cared for me. He did not name me. He did not even know of my existence for the whole three and ten years of my existence. In my experience little one Daemon is no true father of mine. I am merely here to claim my birthright and to be acknowledged by him. Besides, I have no real reason to be convincing , as you say, with our matching hair." Alyssa says as she now releases her remaining white hair from her within her cloak. "Now can you bring me to your father or not?"

The child seems to ponder for a small moment before speaking. "Father isn't here at the moment. He's out riding Caraxes. I could bring you to mother though? She's in her chamber. The Maester aren't really allowing her to move around much since she's with child and she nearly inured herself attempting to ride Vhagar." The child reveals. "What is your name?"

"I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours. If Daemon does truly claim me and officially make me your sister then we need to know each other's names." Alyssa jests with a small smile.

"Okay deal!" The child giggles, losing her timid tone quickly. "My name is Rhaena. I also have a twin sister named Baela but she's out dragon riding with father..."

Alyssa can see the disappointment on the young girls face as she reveals this so Alyssa decides to divert her attention by agreeing to meet her mother Laena. Rhaena nods, no longer lost in thought and brings Alyssa down many corridors asking her questions after questions with curiosity only a child could really possess.

Alyssa only now begins to feel the anxiety of the situation hit her. Would Daemon accept her? Or would he kill her so no one will know of the physical evidence of his previous whoring? Granted he seems like the type of person who does not care of his history but there are the lords to think about. They would no doubt hate the idea of a bastard being claimed as if one bastard is claimed the council will believe all of Daemons bastards will suddenly wish to be claimed. And no one is ready for that day as of yet, or indeed any day ever.

Alyssa is brought out of her thoughts though when the two of them get to a large double door with two armed guards at the door. The guards gave a raised eyebrow at Alyssa but smiled kindly at Rhaena who smiled just as brightly at the top whilst she knocked at the door. After a moments wait the two walked through it as a small yet empathetic sounding voice told them to come in.
