Chapter 7

[Ariel and Eric returned to the kingdom the very next morning. As soon as they returned, Ariel kept on learning the human words for everything, she kept on learning about biology, she learned the history of the kingdom, and she spent time with the people. The people already loved her, Ariel was extremely bright, and she, Belle, and the other princesses kept in contact with one another through letters. A month passed and Grimbsy decided to test Ariel on the kingdom's entire history, trades, and a lot of human words. Ariel passed every human word that Grimbsy asked her about, she passed the entire history portion with flying colors, and only needed the trading part]
Ariel: Well, our kingdom is responsible for exporting cuttlefish, mushrooms, octopus, tuna, olive oil, wine, leather, various seasonings, cheese, tomatoes, and pearls. However, the kingdom of Glowerhaven exports coffee, pistachios, pasta, squid, pink opals, asparagus, condiments, turkey or prosciutto, and turquoise
Grimbsy: Very good job, Ariel, excellent
Ariel: Thank you, Grimbsy
Grimbsy: You are officially done with these lessons and now we just got to keep on teaching you everything else
Ariel: Well, that's a few things off the list, I still want to know more, but I'll get there.
Grimbsy: I'm sure you will, Ariel, you're exceedingly bright, just take your time, be patient, and you know, I'm very happy for you and Eric. You make him so very happy
Ariel: Just as much as he makes me, Grimbsy
Grimbsy: I'm glad to hear that, my dear, have you both started talking about a wedding date?
Ariel: Not yet, we want to take our time with it
Grimbsy: Very well, shall we continue with the other lessons
Ariel: Take it away, Grim
Grimbsy: Excellent

{In the kingdom of Atlantica}
King Triton: Now, Attina, as you know, all of your sisters have their dreams that do not involve ruling over Atlantica. Alana wants to open up her beauty shop for skin and hair products, Adella wants to open up her fashion shop, Aquata wants to become a great athlete, and Arista and Andrina want to keep on playing in the musical band to become, well, great musicians. Now, you already know that Ariel is living on the surface with that prince and I imagine that sooner or later, they'll get married, and she will become his queen. This means that you must rule over Atlantica
Attina: Yes, father, I understand, and I gladly accept the role and the responsibilities of ruling our kingdom. I'm ready
King Triton: Thank you, my dear
Attina: You don't have to thank me, father, it is my duty, and it is an honor to rule over our kingdom and people. Father, is, is Ariel, is she, happy
King Triton: From what I saw a while back, she was
(Attina sighs)
Attina: I'm glad she's happy, but, it's just that, well, we miss her, all of us
King Triton: I miss her too, my dear, every day, but we must support her decision and be happy for her
Attina: Why hasn't she come to visit us?
King Triton: I don't know, perhaps she's busy up on the surface with human things
Attina: Maybe
King Triton: Come, let's go get your sisters for an afternoon walk to the gardens
Attina: Alright, father
(They go find the others while their servants prepare the dining room for lunch)
{Back on the surface}
[Ariel had just finished her biology, geography, and Italian lessons with Grimbsy, so she had gone to find Eric. She had indeed found him and he told her that his best friend, John Smith, had been injured, and would recover in their palace since the ocean was good for him. Ariel, of course, agreed immediately. When John Smith arrived in London, the doctor took away the bullet and ordered him complete bed rest. However, John Smith was wanted for treason by the king because Radcliffe had lied to the king and queen. John knew that it wouldn't be long until they sent an army for him and he wanted to keep his men, Pocahontas, and her entire tribe safe, so he decided not to have any communication with them in case someone intercepted the letters he was thinking about writing to Pocahontas. Afterwards, John went to Seahaven to stay there with Eric and Ariel to get better and to hide. Eric introduced him to Ariel, and they immediately got along. As John Smith was resting in a guest room, he told Eric and Ariel everything that had happened in Virginia. He stayed there for a month and every day he wrote a letter to Pocahontas, every.single.day]

[Soon enough, John was fully healed and decided to go back to London. He helped rescue Pocahontas from the dungeon with John Rolfe, they defeated Ratcliffe, and he was put in chains. The king and queen awarded John Smith with his very own ship and he accepted it, but the only thing he wanted was to be at Pocahontas' side. Both Pocahontas and John Smith were still very much in love with each other, and as soon as John Smith showed the tied stack of letters to Pocahontas, she read each and every last one, alone, which drove her to tears. Afterwards, they decided to go back home...to Virginia. John Rolfe decided to stay back in London because he had nothing for him in Virginia. He wanted Pocahontas to choose him but knew that her true love was John Smith and would always be him. Before going to Virginia, Pocahontas and John made a turn to Italy, so he could introduce her to Eric and Ariel. Once he did, Ariel and Pocahontas became great friends. They stayed for the night, later on, the group went to Rapunzel's welcoming home ball in her kingdom, and they stayed in Corona for the night. The next day, they went to France to catch up with John Smith's cousin and girlfriend, and the very next day, they went their way to Virginia. When they got there, Chief Powhatan welcomed John with open arms, and John and Pocahontas were surprised to see that Nakoma and Thomas had begun courting each other.
