POV: Em

I paced the room since this afternoon. Everyone was at the castle, my nerves were shot to this point. Mammon and I cuddled for hours last night but I have this sinking feeling in my stomach that I can't shake off. Aiden was being watched by Asmo and Levi in the common room. I have to go to the main hall to meet the others...I went downstairs and met Beel, Lucifer, Simeon, Diavolo, Barbatos and Mammon. They turned to look at me, Mammon walking over and pulling me into a hug, "We'll be back in a few hours..." he whispered into my neck and placed a kiss on my lips firmly. After he pulled away, Lucifer ad I locked eyes. He needed to protect Mammon no matter the cost...just the thought of possibly shit going wrong makes me want to vomit from stress.

"Remember, you get till midnight, then the portal closes, no matter what happens do whatever you can to reach and go through the portal, we'll be waiting." Barbatos instructed to them. I glance at all of them and covered my face with my hand. Barbatos opened the portal, Archangels were already at the opening, waiting for them. I watched them each step through and then nothing....just a fuzzy portal. Dia came over and wrapped a strong arm around my shoulder. "They'll...be okay..." even he didn't sound to confident,especially with Lucifer being on the other side as well. I sat with the Prince and waited....patiently.

POV: Lucifer

We were escorted by archangels to the main hall of the celestial realm. Simeon lead the way with Luke, I was behind them and Beel and Mammon behind me. We made our way to what was left of the 'Judgement' Hall, after the war it barely stood. There standing dab in the middle was Michael, next to him was our brother, in chains and battered up. We stopped in front of him, Simeon and Luke on each sides of me as I took a step forwards. "Brother..." I cleared my throat and looked up at Michael who snorted in disgust. "Brother? No not this time. Want to tell me why one of YOUR traitor brothers was found up here? You all are never allowed to step a foot up here " he crossed his arms and I let out the breath I was holding. "He wasn't thinking rationally and made the grave mistake of coming here, it was an emotional and tense time and he ran away from home...that is all..." I explained and he scoffed. "You expect m to believe that?" "ITS TRUE!" Belphie perked-up but was kicked by an archangel, knocking him down. I tried not to react, holding my arms out as Beel and Mammon jerked forward. "What do you want for his release? I'm sure we just can't take him and leave..." I glared at Michael and he smirked. "Still smart as ever Lucifer...too bad that is now wasted as a demon instead of the glorious angel you WERE." He took a step forward and his glance settled on Mammon.

"You, the trouble maker right? It was heard that you impregnated a human, that's a big no no, we are deciding on whether to take action on that filthy sin..." he spoke in disgust to Mammon. "Say what you want Michael..." Mammon growled and glared at him. "Here's the thing, Dad is fairly busy at the moment, so here's how I'm gonna handle it, you can take your brother....IF we keep carrot top or that white haired filth behind you hostage til you return to the portal you came out of, no funny business from either side..." he held out his hand to me. I glance at Beel then Mammon. I tried to block Mammon as best I could and let Beel take this one. As soon as he went to reach for Michael's hand, Mammon managed to slip past us and shake his hand with the angel. NO...Fuck he was still always the fastest out of us...

"Perfect..." He pulled Mammon into a head lock, a shimmering spear in his hand up to Mammon's throat."Let the other one go" he called out, another angel coming and freeing Belphie from his chains. I looked up at Mammon, nervous and unsure. His eyes read to just go with it and start walking to the portal. Beel took Belphie by the arm and followed me to the portal. Michael walked behind us wit Mammon. I glanced back every other step. I made a fucking promise....we just need to get to that damned portal...It was almost midnight too...

As we reached the portal, it began to open and form a wobbly image of the inside of Diavolo's castle. I nodded for Beel and Belphie to step through. The began to and managed to make it fully through the portal. I began to walk through and turned to look at Michael. He smiled and began to let Mammon go. He held his hands up and nodded for Mammon to walk forward. I was almost halfway through....when I saw it coming....

Just as Mammon reached out to me to take his hand, I saw the glimmer of light shoot through the air and the smug smile of Michael. It was like slow motion, my brain not able to comprehend what just happened. Blood splatted everywhere. As I went take Mammon's hand, a holy spear was thrown directly at his back...I stared in utter shock as I fell through the portal taking Mammon with me. Mammon falling through with a Michael's spear completely impaled through his abdomen. Time went slow and I couldn't unsee it. What broke me from my trance was a ear piercing scream flooding the hall of the castle.

There Mammon laid on the castle floor, bleeding out and dying. I looked around, everyone was screaming, the baby was crying loudly, I looked down at myself, my brother's blood all over my front. He tricked us....he didn't keep his promise....I looked at Em, she was screaming and inconsolable, raw painful gut retching sobs.
