Chapter 5

//Hey so this chapter is crappy and short but hey, why not post it anyways. Also my story got a vote! I did not expect that and definitely do not deserve it but still, thx so much, it means a lot!//

The apartment was empty when I got back, nothing but the dust bunnies and me. No Straub in sight, I plopped down on the couch, ready to watch some family guy. After like 5 episodes I thought it would be a good idea to clean, Sean was coming soon. So I turned on some tunes and began dancing/sweeping the floor. Saying goodbye to my dust bunny friends one last time I put the broom back in the closet and began washing the dishes that scattered the counter. I continued to dance around and do chores till I was too tired to do anything but watch tv, again. I couldn't even find the effort to change the channel, the remote was just too far, or in other words on the coffee table. Being stuck on the channel it was on which in this case was the news, I sat back and prepared for all the depressing stories about death and blah. After a few about the coral reef, pope, and a big fire down town, a story finally came on that caught my eye. It was still sad but something about it just drew my attention. The story was about a 14 year old who had been submitted to the hospital today because she had tried to kill herself. Now normally they wouldn't do something like that on the news but this girl had already tried 5 times. Her parents refused to take her to a suicide prevention place or a therapist, the only thing she wrote in the suicide note was she couldn't take it all anymore. I swore under my breath, it wasn't fair for someone to feel that way, that their life was so bad they gave up on living. Just as I was about to look up the article Straub burst in,

"I kissed her!"

I guess Straub was on his date.

"Is that so?"

I replied uninterested and trying to turn on my phone which didn't want to work.

"Yeah we were just eating, talking and I told her how pretty she was, after I saw her blush I knew I had to try. I leaned in and kissed her! We're on second base already!"

He said as he jumped around the apartment.

"I don't think that means what you think it mean but good for you."

I said finally getting my phone to turn on; you would think at 19 he would know what second base is but no, that was just how Straub was.

"Im gonna go text her about it!"

He almost screamed! Alright Straub was getting way too attached already.

"You have fun with that."

I said as he ran into his room while I continued on my marry way with my phone in my hand to my room. I laid down on my bed and just stared at my ceiling, Sean was coming tomorrow. It might be at the end of the day but still, he was coming tomorrow. I just couldn't hold my excitement in any longer, I face timed Sean and just stared screaming, all he did was laugh and show me his suitcase, this only made me scream more.

After face timing Sean I stared out my window and imagined what it would be like when he got there. He would envelope me in a hug and then I would stare into his deep brown eyes and kiss him. It was a little cheesy I know but the thought of it happening just made me too giddy, it was like being high or something. Knowing this was the only happy thought I'd had in a while and took advantage of it. I laid in bed, snuggled Bemo and just kept thinking about it, this made me smile half the night. Plus for all I know it could come true, maybe Straub won't be the only one getting kissed this week.
