When Blair woke up the the next day she immediately raised her hand to her forehead. No fever. Next she placed her hand over her chest. Her heart wasn't racing anymore. To Blair, it seemed as if she had fully recuperated.

She got out of bed and stretched. She must have just had one of those 24 hour sicknesses or something. She walked out of room and noted how no one seemed to be up yet. When she noticed the time it made sense considering it was a bit early. No one was normally up at 10am but Blair had basically slept all day yesterday so she was ready to get out of bed.

That's another thing she learned about her new mutant form. She can pretty much sleep all day and not feel cruddy afterwards like most humans do when they sleep too much. She figured it must be because cats tend to sleep a lot. She also loves the feeling of the sun but surprisingly still hates most fish dishes. Mikey tested that out on her all day once, serving her all sorts of different kinds of fish dishes that she couldn't stand. They had fish leftovers in the fridge for a week.

Speaking of food, Blair was starving and headed to the kitchen for some breakfast. She opened the fridge and you'd think there wouldn't be much but Mikey keeps it pretty well stocked for whenever he wants to make his experiments. He doesn't let any of the guys touch most of his ingredients but when he learned Blair could cook too he let's her use select ingredients whenever she wants and invites her to cook with him sometimes.

She grabbed the carton of eggs and the butter, placing them down next to the stove after turning it on. She opened the lower cabinet where the pan normally is but couldn't find it anywhere. She opened one of the upper cabinets and found it sitting on the top shelf.

"Good morning." She knew without turning around it was Donnie by his voice.

She stood on her tiptoes, stretching to reach the pan, "Good morning. You're up early." She greeted back at him, the tips of her fingers almost touching the handle of the pan.

Without warning she felt something pressed against her back and green arms stretch over her head and grab the pan she was reaching for then lower it for her. She smiled at the help and graciously took the pan, "Thanks. I almost had it thou-" She stopped when her breath hitched in her throat as when she turned around, it wasn't Donnie standing behind her, it was Leo.

Donnie yawned and handed a mug to Leo who poured some coffee for himself, "Yeah, we crashed pretty early yesterday because after karaoke we went out and-"

"Hey, are you alright? Shouldn't you be in bed?" Leo interrupted.

Blair found herself looking at anything but Leo, "Uh, no. I'm good now. I feel way better."

Leo stepped back closer to her and placed his hand on her forehead, making her go stiff, "You might wanna think again. You still have a fever."

"Yeah, and your face is still red. You should really be in bed." Donnie agreed.

Blair grabbed her tail behind her and looked at the ground, "But, I felt fine when I woke up." She murmured.

"Nuh-uh-uh." Leo stood up straight and pointed to the doorway with his other hand on his hip, "March yourself back to bed missy. We told you yesterday if you needed anything to ask us. I'll be right there with your eggs."

Blair side eyed Donnie pleadingly, "I'll help him with it." He reassured without looking up from his tablet.

Blair relented and sighed as she walked back to her room. She really had felt fine though. She felt her cheek and Leo was right. She had a fever again. Her heart rate was up again as well. Other than that though, she really did feel fine; she didn't feel sick in any other way. She figured it must be a minor illness but should continue to rest for now so it doesn't get any worse.
