A Meeting

As The team got back to the lair, Blair's head was spinning as she clutched the business card buried in her jacket pocket.

"Alright gang!" Leo slid behind Blair and placed his hands on her shoulders, "In honor of Blair's first successful mission, I think it's about time we had a PARTAYYY!"

Snap.

"Aw yeah! I'm ordering 10 pizza's instead of the usual 5!" Mikey cheered.

"Sheldon, initiate Booty_Shaker protocol." Donnie called as Sheldon flew into the room.

A disco ball dropped from the ceiling as the lights dimmed and music started playing. The guys didn't skip a beat and got into the groove without a second thought.

Leo moved out from behind Blair and stood at her side, holding out a hand, "C'mon. We can't let them have all the fun. They're missing the main act."

For a brief moment, Blair almost let herself take Leo's hand. Almost let herself forget all her worries and just let loose. Lord knows she hadn't let herself in a while; but as she looked down at Leo's hand, the memory of Nox's hand, grasped around her wrist, flashed across her mind.

Snap.

"I, uh, wish I could, but I'm actually pretty tired." Blair grasped at straws for some kind of excuse to be alone with her thoughts.

The music screeched to a halt.

"Whhhhaaaaat?" Mikey pleaded.

"C'mon Blair, you've been working really hard. You have to take a break. Let loose." Raph tried to convince her.

The sad look on everyone's faces pulled at Blair's heart; but the looks of pity they give her whenever she can't keep up with them in training or the fake smiles and compliments they give her whenever they want her to think she's making progress overpowered her guilt.

"I'm just tired okay, " she rebutted sternly, looking at the ground. Despite her resolve, she couldn't bring herself to look them in the eyes.

"Well...I guess you shouldn't push yourself if you're not feeling well." Donnie broke the silence.

"Yeah, you guys just dance a little harder for me, kay?" Blair tried to lighten the mood.

"You know it! Gotta show these chumps some real moves." Leo chuckled but his words seemed less enthusiastic than before. More empty.

Blair had to physically restrain her ears from drooping, " You guys have fun. I'm gonna head to bed. " As she walked towards her room, her hand never left the card in her pocket.

Finally in the privacy of her room she threw the card on her desk and started digging in her drawers on her nightstand. In the bottom of one, she found the previous business card she received from the old man months ago. She placed to two cards next to each to compare.

One had just a phone number while the other had an address and a quote. Blair wondered why they were different. If this clan is as big as she thinks, they might have had to move locations to avoid detection and that's why the new card just had a phone number? Blair wasn't sure, but she knew she needed to find out. She opened her laptop that Donnie had made for her a few months ago and searched the address. What came up seemed to be an abandoned storefront.

She wanted more than anything to solve all the questions running through her head but she needed a good excuse to go out without any of the guys tagging along. You wouldn't think it but they can get pretty clingy when they're bored. Not to mention they've been overprotective ever since Blair went to the hospital.
