Chapter 9: Heart of Pink

Arizona was with her friend Zachariah at the school's Christmas party. They were in the gym dancing and talking.

"So, what are you getting for Christmas?" Arizona asked.

"A new bicycle, what about you?"

"I don't know. My parents did say they were going to get this one thing for me, but you know, they died..."

"Maybe your sister can get it for you."

"You know what, I really don't want a gift, as long as I got my sister, I don't care what I get."

"That's a nice thing, Ari."

"Yeah, and thanks for being such a great friend, Zach."

"Haha, you're like a sister to me, Ari. I'll always have your back."

Arizona hugged Zach. After dancing, Arizona went to go to restroom. As she walked through the halls she heard some comotion going. She turned a corner and saw Jason, Carny, and Ralph picking on Poppy and Gabby.

"Put your hands on my sister again, I'll make you regret it!" Poppy exclaimed angrily at Jason.

"Oh, I'm so scared. I'll do whatever I want blondie." Jason pulled Poppy's hair. Carny and Ralph both laughed.

"Hey, you Grinch, leave her alone!" Arizona yelled.

Jason turned around and seen that it was Arizona standing behind them.

"Oh look guys, it's Piss Pants." Jason said.

"Yeah, how about you turn around and go before you get messed up." Said Carny.

"Right, cause you know, I still ain't got my lick back after that sucker punch you threw at me."

"I ain't afraid of you, Jason. Never was." Arizona tossed down her Santa hat and cracked her knuckles ready to fight.

"You ain't gotta be. Now, get punk!" Jason pushed her onto to the ground.

Arizona stood back up quickly, she grabbed and tossed him onto the ground. She got on top of him and punched him multiple times in the face and chest. She was about to punch him one more time when she stopped her fist. As much as she wanted to get revenge on him and for all the times he treated her bad, she felt like this wasn't her. Jason looked at her and smirked deviously.

"Pfft, merciful." Jason punched her on the side of her face. Arizona fell over on the side and held onto her cheek.

"Anything to say before I go ham on you?" Jason walked to Arizona, bestanding her. Arizona looked Jason straight in the eyes, showing him no signs of fear or backing down whatsoever.

"You can put scars on my skin, you can break my bones, but you can never pierce my spirit." Arizona took a deep breath and stood back up. She rolled her sleeves up and held her fist up.

"Hmph." Jason shrugged his shoulders. He ran up to Arizona throwing punches, Arizona dogged all of them. She kept backing up, she stepped to the side held her leg out. Jason tripped over Arizona's leg and rolled into gym and knocked over the juice table. The juice fell over on his pants. Everyone turned around saw Jason on the ground with his pants wet.

"Look who peed their pants, now." Arizona said everyone started to laugh.

One of the teachers grabbed Jason and walked him out of the gym. Zach came up to Arizona confused on what just happened.

"What was all of that about?"

"I've finally won, Zach. That's what happened." Arizona smiled. Gabby walked up to Arizona.

"Hey... why'd you stood up for us?"

"You treat others how you would like to be treated. Hope you learned something from that." Arizona patted Gabby on the shoulder then walked off with Zachariah.
