Tiny bit of light smut.

"Izuku!" Katsuki's lip quivered as he looked deep into emerald eyes that had finally opened after having been closed for an entire week. The doctors had at first thought it would be only a couple days, and with each additional day that went by, Katsuki became more and more worried that his boyfriend might never wake up.

"Kacchan" Izuku tried to sit up but fell back crying out in pain. "Kacchan!". A doctor and two nurses rushed in the room, one of the nurses shoving Katsuki out of the room and into the hall. She apologized but said that they needed to do a thorough exam now that the patient is awake. He understood, but hated hearing the cries from his love as the doctor examined Izuku's body.

He pulled out his phone and sent a group text to Inko and his parents. They would all want to know right away that Izuku had woken up. Sure enough he received texts back from his dad and Inko saying that they are on their way. His mom, Mitsuki, is out on another mission after having completed whatever she had been doing in Russia. Katsuki had no idea where she was this time and knew not to ask.

Once the checkup had been done and Izuku was comfortably medicated, the doctors allowed the three of them to enter the room. Inko rushed over to her son stroking his cheek with the brightest smile on her face as she drank up the sight of her precious baby boy awake.

"Hi, Mom" Izuku said with a ditzy smile. He is as high as a kite on pain medication for his spine. His ankles had healed very well after being sprained. The purple had already all but faded. The deep gash on his head would take a while longer to heal, but it was healing nicely. The injury that they were the most worried about is his spine.

"Your son seems to doing well considering what he has been through. We are going to be taking him to get some more scans of his spine. I know you won't want to hear this but, for now, we can only have one person with the patient at a time. We will be monitoring Mr. Midoriya carefully and too many people can hinder our movements.

"My dad and I will leave, but Auntie, can you let me know when I can come back?".

"Of course, Katsuki. Thank you. I'm sure Izuku wants to be with you too, but let me be a little selfish for right now".

Katsuki nodded, leaning down to give Inko a kiss on the cheek. "Of course, Auntie. Let the nerd know that I love him and I'll see him soon". The blonde hated to leave especially since his love had just woken up, but Izuku's mom needs to be with her only child.

"We should celebrate, Son" Masaru said throwing his arm around his boy. "Let's go get something good to eat and maybe bring Midoriya some dessert. He likes sweets". Bakugo nodded but turned to look back at the door that separated him and his love. "We'll be back soon, Katsuki" Masaru said leading his son towards the exit.

"Oh my god, Kacchan, this is soooo goooood!" Izuku moaned as Katsuki placed another bite full of pudding into his mouth. "Where did you get this from? We have to go there after I get out of this hell hole".

The blonde chuckled wiping off the tiny bit that had smeared on the side of Izuku's mouth. "Don't talk with your mouth full, you heathen". Another week past and things were looking very good for Midoriya. The doctors were certain that he would make a full recovery in a matter of months. The spin injury hadn't been as bad as they first thought. Izuku was fitted with a brace that he would have to wear 24 hours for at least a month, then only at night to prevent damage by moving in his sleep. During the day he will need to wear the brace only when leaving he house.

"When is my release date? I can't wait to go home!" Izuku pouted before opening his mouth for another spoonful of pudding.

"You still have to be here another five days, Deku. You're luckier than the guy in the next room, he's been here for over a month. Got burned pretty bad in a fire".
