From Rivals to Romance

Epilogue

"Thank you so much, Mirio" Izuku said smiling kindly to the company's newest full time employee. After the young man had fought so hard to save Midoriya, Nezu hired him right away. Midoriya had asked that he be his assistant. That decision didn't sit well with Bakugo at first, but Mirio has been nothing but professional with his nerd, so he let it go.

"My pleasure, Mr. Midoriya. You have a meeting with a new streamer in an hour. She is a cam girl who is very green. You might need to hold her hand and lead her through this entire process".

"No problem. I'll pull up her file now and see what she is looking to do on her show". Izuku was happy that they had four new adult content streamers. They were down two since both he and Katsuki had left their shows.

Bakugo had lost his taste for streaming after the online hate and subscribers feeling entitled to personal information about him and Deku. Now he had a new job, one that he wasn't expecting to have so soon. He was working in cyber security for Nezu Entertainment. The pay is not anywhere as good as when he was a streamer, but it was enough.

He only worked because he didn't want to be seen as a kept man, Izuku had even asked if he wanted to be a house husband. The amount of money Shigaraki's family had given Izuku kept the couple more than comfortable. They had ended up giving him $20 million plus a penthouse apartment.

His phone dinged notifying him that a text came in, a small smile appeared on Izuku's face at who the message is from. Mitsuki Bakugo would be picking him up after work to go out for a family dinner. He chuckled remembering how his boyfriend had groaned all morning about having to meet up with his hag and old man. Bakugo wasn't telling Izuku about where they were going because it is a surprise. The greenette kept his eyes away from his boyfriend not wanting to read his face and discover what it could be.

Later that evening, much to Izuku's surprise, Inko Midoriya joined the Bakugo's for the weekly family dinner. The only clue that Katsuki had given him was to dress formally. The blonde was wearing a black suit and tie, so Izuku put on fancy black slacks with a white cashmere sweater.

It was over dessert that Bakugo got down on one knee and proposed to Izuku. Emerald eyes overflowed, his hand shaking so much Katsuki had to hold it still while he slipped the ring on his lover's finger. Five months later the two wed at the same resort where they had met and fell in love.

Izuku held Katsuki's hand as they walked beside the crystal clear water. He closed his eyes feeling the sun on his face thinking this is paradise. After all that time sniping at each other online, Izuku couldn't believe that their relationship had gone from rivals to romance, to true love.
