Christmas Specials! [P.2 ] || Christmas HC's

AN: Hello! Before we start, I just wanted to thank you for you guy's patience with me and my book. Ever since I posted my first chapters, I've received tremendous amounts of support, and I'm very thankful for all of you. These past weeks have been kind of frustrating because I got writer's block and I was having tremendous amounts of dysphoria. I know I keep apologizing about not being able to post as frequently as I'd like, but I really can't help but feel bad because I somewhat feel like I owe consistency to this book, because I myself feel disappointed when I read a book I like and end up finding that it was discontinued or the author hadn't posted in a long time. I hope you guys know that I cherish this book and this community and that I will keep writing in this book until it's completed. :) So, off with the sappy stuff, let's get into the even sappier stuff! XD

!CHRISTMAS HEADCANONS!

SONIC:
Before he met you, he celebrated Christmas by visiting everyone's houses, running by each one until he got bored and he returned home to celebrate the rest of the day with Tails. Although he really didn't get the whole vibe of Christmas, it took him a while to start liking Christmas, mostly because of you and Tails. Now he's hyper before the week even begins. He goes as far as going on a gift haul with Rouge (which flabbergasted Shadow when he saw the amount of gifts in his living room. Rouge couldn't find another place to leave them at, so Sonic just snuck in and threw them all in his living room as a temporary solution). He loves surprising you with gifts! He literally just runs up to you and places one in front of you before leaving, not even giving you enough time to blink. He also adores putting up the tree with you and if you 'accidentally' get tangled together with the X-mas lights, he'll be even more happy. Will cuddle you to no end and he might go as far as asking someone (most likely Tails, who has to watch you two the whole day) to set you guys up under the mistletoe.

SHADOW:
Honestly, this was probably the first time he actually cared about Christmas. The last time he had celebrated it had been on the arc with Maria. Sure, the parties that his friends hosted were nice and all, and they definitely helped him feel less lonely, but they never really fulfilled him. At least not the way that you and Team Dark did. You guys really had a blast, and this year, Shadow felt happy. You guys being there for him made a difference, even if it was a party Rouge had dragged him to. It made him feel fuzzy, and he had you to thank the most. Ever since you entered his life, he had felt the need to try new things, to feel new things, and he would forever be grateful for you. So as you stood there, exchanging gifts, he relished every reaction you had towards his gift, from unwrapping it, too hugging him out of happiness. He wrapped his arms around your waist as you laughed, bringing joy into his heart. Rouge nudged Omega as she took a sip of her drink, prompting him to let out a sarcastic remark as his vision settled on the two of you. The lights around you reflected off of his eyes as you raised your head from his chest. His eyes settled on yours and you smiled. He lowered his gaze to your lips, leaning in slowly. His arms pulled you closer, and you slowly leaned into his hold. Your lips brushed his own, and he could feel himself melt against you. You stood there, holding each other as you lost yourself in one another's hold. It was moments like these that left him astounded at the world, at you. And as you slowly parted, he couldn't help but mutter what was true. "I love you."

SILVER:
He makes sure that even the little details are perfect when preparing your gift, like what your favorite color is or what color combinations you like. Will be so moved if you give him a gift, he doesn't care if it's something random, he just cares that you care enough to take time out of your day to get it for him. Probably gets you more than one gift because he likes going out to buy them for you (also seeing you happy makes him feel fuzzy inside). You guys end up baking together and you have a blast sending boxes of dessert to the others (he accidentally time traveled to the wrong time so now you have a very confused Tikal). At the end of the day, you guys stay up stargazing while cuddling (fluffy chest!!).
