Veronica Stark's POV

I am busily making breakfast when I hear the sound of someone walking towards me. Looking up I fully expected to see my half-asleep brother groaning about drinking too much and needing coffee, instead, I am more than a little shocked to see a blonde woman wearing nothing but my brother's shirt and a nice dress draped over her arm. "Are you the help?" I can't help but respond with an eye roll. Do I look like I work here? Sure I am in a pencil shirt and blouse but that doesn't mean I work here. Why do all of Tony's one-night stands always assume I work for him? Regardless of my annoyance, it is too early to be a bitch so I put on my nicest smile before I respond.

"No. I am Tony's...." I start to explain before I am interrupted.

"Great. I need my dry dress cleaned and DON'T ruin it." I am flabbergasted by this woman. Who does she think she is? Coming into MY house! Demanding I do HER laundry! I swear I am about to kill my brother. Just because I am in business attire doesn't mean I work for MY brother! I am about to go to work for goodness' sake! Can a woman not cook breakfast in her own home without being questioned?

"Why don't you take that dress and shove it up your ass?" I snap back waving my spatula angrily at her, grinning at the angry and shocked look on the blonde bitch's face.

"Excuse me! Who do you think you're talking to?" the girl yells as she marches around the kitchen island but I don't react instead flipping over the pancake in the pan so it doesn't burn.

"Do you know who YOU are talking to?" I throw back.

"No. Why would I know who Tony's good-for-nothing assistant is?" Oh. I am going to enjoy this.

"My name is Veronica Morgan Stark." As soon as she realizes who I am her eyes widen in horror. Too late for that bitch. "Daughter of Howard and Maria Stark, younger sister of Tony Stark. CFO of Stark Industries and the richest woman in the world. So I ask again. Who. Are. You?" Ooh if only I could take a picture of the pale panicking bitch.

"I am so sorry. I didn't know. If I had known who you are I wouldn't have..." I don't let her finish, opting to interrupt her. Ha! Karma's a bitch.

"Wouldn't have what? Treated me like shit. Even if I wasn't Tony Stark's sister and was indeed the help you should NEVER talk to someone like that. You shouldn't treat people like shit, no matter who they are or aren't. So blondie, I would suggest you take yourself and that dirty ass dress out of my house before I have security remove you."

"I-I-I...No wonder everyone calls you a bitch!" blondie screams at me before marching down the hall.

"Don't let the door hit you on the way out!" I shout, the front door slamming just moments later. I smile to myself as I turn back to making breakfast not even realizing I have an audience until they clear their throat. I jump, startled by the sudden noise to see Rhodey leaning against the wall smirking.

"That was quite the dramatic scene. Right out of reality t.v." Rhodey laughs as he pushes off the wall and walks towards me.

"Well, Tony practically raised me. I was bound to pick up some of his need for dramatics." I laugh as I pull Rhodey in for a one-armed side hug, the other arm still busily trying not to burn the pancakes.

"Yes, I know from personal experience." With that, I smack Rhodey with my spatula. "Ow. That hurt."

"You deserved it."

"No, I did not. Now where is Tony? Normally he's the first one up when you're making pancakes."

"He's still passed out in his room. He stayed up late last night partying and getting totally wasted. You should see the pictures I had J.A.R.V.I.S. delete. There is one of Tony kissing a llama, a live, actual llama."
