*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP B-*

You groan as you turned off your alarm. It was your first day at Boys 'N' Grills. Though Bob never set a specific time, you wanted to be there early. You recall them opening at 9:00, so you decided to get up at 7:00 in the goddamn morning. Now, you were currently in the process of regretting all life decisions you've made up to this point.

Begrudgingly, you get up and change out of your pjs and into some outside clothes. You woke up early because you knew you take a while to get ready. (I can see you, reader.) You got yourself some breakfast, and brushed your teeth. By the time you were finished, it was 8:30. Good! You still had some time to explore.

You had accepted Bob's offer because you were on leave, and besides, your job didn't that pay well anyway. Being able to work at Boys 'N' Grills would let you gather information, spend time with Bob, get you money, and you'll be able to spend time out! All of the things you like so far in this town!

You're still walking as you check your wristwatch, 8:45. You still have some time before you need to be there. You decided to walk to the park, it wasn't too far. And besides, you still had fifteen minutes left, you weren't gonna be late. You turn the corner to enter the park, but you stop. You've noticed a flyer on a lamppost.

!!!BE AWARE!!!

There have been several murders being committed in the last couple of weeks, the bodies have been found dismembered with some parts missing. A cannibalistic serial killer is going around, and we need YOUR help to stop more people from becoming victims.

We have established a curfew, anyone outside after the curfew will be arrested.

CURFEW: NO LATER THAN 10:00 P.M.

We thank you for obeying the law.

From: Your Local Police Dept.

Huh.

You remember when you first made the local news.

You continue your stroll, entering the park as your mind wanders. You have a curfew to be following now, you didn't even know this town had serial killers. Hopefully, they had the same motives as you did.

It would be a shame if they didn't.

It was now 8:55. You walk to Boys 'N' Grills.

---

You arrive at 9:00, just in time to see a car pull up. Lo and behold, out steps Bob in a red sweater. It's a bit strange not to see him in uniform, but you think the sweater suits him. He notices you and waves. You wave back before walking over to him.

"Good morning Bob!" You greet him with cheer. He smiles at you with his trademark grin, tilting his head to the side as he greets you back, "Mornin'. You're here early." You give a sheepish grin, "Yeah... Well, you never gave a specific time, so I thought I'd be here as early as I could!" You say, putting your hands on your hips while giving him a determined look.

He chuckles at your behavior. "Well, I guess you're right. Just let me open first before we get you started." He unlocks the door and steps in. He flicks the lights on as he pulls off his sweater, revealing the plain black t-shirt you see whenever you stop by. He brings you behind the counter, taking his uniform off a coat hook behind the door. "Alright," he starts, "You're gonna be working at the counter, taking orders, telling me, handling cash. You know, the works. Sometimes you'll be serving, but don't worry. You won't have to cook anything. That's my job." He smiles again.

You chuckle at his joke, "Fine by me, your cooking is amazing." You grin, thinking about the steak he gave you yesterday. His grin widens even more, "Glad you think so, maybe I could get more compliments if I cook for you more." You turn red, god, he was never gonna let that go, wasn't he? He chuckles at your reaction, "I'm just messing with ya. Here ya go," he says as he hands you a uniform that looks like your size, "good luck on your first day. Glad to have you."
