Warning: attempted SA, kicking balls, creepy men

###

The first few weeks passed quickly, working with Bob at Boys 'N' Grills really helped the time fly. You were getting more accustomed to the town, settling in properly and making it your new home. You had finally finished unpacking your boxes, so you were doing some spring cleaning. Should it be called fall cleaning? Since it was autumn? Whatever.

You checked your wristwatch again for the time, not wanting to be late.

It was 8:30.

You sigh. It was time to get going. You grabbed your coat as you step out your front door, locking it as you walk through the chilly autumn air.

---

It was 8:45 when you stopped in front of the candy shop. You made a little detour before going to work, you wanted to grab something as a thanks to Bob.

He's done so much for you already, and you haven't even been here a month! He deserves more gratitude than some pocket change. You walk in, the door giving a little jingle as you step inside. The place was painted a soft, cotton candy pink. Dispensers filled with different candies lined the wall as you looked around, you started to drool. Your eyes landed on the counter where a young man, around your age you note, is sitting. He's reading the newspaper.

You walk up to him and ring the customer service bell. He looks up, his eyes flicking up at you for a second before going back to his newspaper. Then he freezes as his eyes snap back to you. He stares as you start to get a bit uncomfortable, just standing there without saying anything is awkward.

You feel a bead of sweat roll down your cheek as you wave a hand in front of his face awkwardly, "Uh... hello?" He seems to shake out of his stupor then, his eyes resting half-lidded as he stares you. "Hello~, to you, too. What can I get for you, sweetie?" Unlike when Bob calls you pet names, the way this guy said it was weird. You felt more uncomfortable being with him now.

"Uhm... can I get a bag of Sr Pelo cookies please? And a bag of mixed candy too." You say, wanting to get out of there more than ever now. He stares at you before he shrugs, turning around to go pack your things. When he comes back to the counter, he weighs them before giving you the price. "That'll be $4.50." He drones out before perking up, seeming to get an idea.

You go to give him the cash you pulled out, but he doesn't take it. Instead, he takes your candy bags and holds onto them tightly. "Uh-uh-uh~." He pushes your hand away, "You don't gotta pay, with cash that is. You can pay with something else, though." He says as he eyes you up and down. "If you do, I can brush off the cash payment."

Okay. This was creepy.

"Uhm. Sir," you begin, not wanting any trouble. Not unless you need to, of course. Your eyes harden, "I really don't want any trouble. I just need my candy bags so I can go to work, I'm going to be late." You try peer pressure. It isn't effective. "I'm sure your boss won't mind you being a little late," is his reply, "come on~. Lighten up a little, baby." He grabs your wrist, trying to pull you down onto the floor.

That was the final straw.

You furrowed your brows, and set your sights on the target. You drew back your leg, aimed, and... Fire!

"AGH!!"

He crumpled, clutching his jewels as he laid on the floor. You dumped your five dollar bill on him, "Keep your change, creep." You grabbed your candy bags, the sweets not damaged in any way, and stomped out the door.

Bob was worried.

You came on time, every day, for the past few weeks you were working here. So the moment the clock struck 9:00 in the morning and you didn't appear, Bob got worried. Like any friend would, any strange behavior will be questioned when you arrived.
