I promise y'all that Y/N having a soft spot for kids is a bit crucial to the storyline... so stick around if ya wanna find out!
I enjoy reading your comments when I wake up, it makes me laugh, even though you're all a bunch of horny simps.
:]
Warnings: cannibalism, tooth rotting fluff, light mentions of kidnapping, light implications of stalking, and angst if you squint hard enough
(There will be a time for you to start playing the song at the top, it's one of my favourites!)

The sound of your doorbell being rung at 6:30 AM wasn't something that you enjoyed, especially since you were used to waking up at 7:00. You groggily sat up from bed, rubbing your eyes as you blink the last bits of sleep from your consciousness. Who could be ringing the doorbell at this hour?
You put on your slippers as you walked to the front door, not bothering to hide the fact that you just woke up. Whoever did so needed to know how ungodly it was to wake a person up at 6:30 in the damn morning, the sun wasn't even up yet!
But, when you opened the door and came face to face with Evelyn and her shy daughter, you immediately started to regret not changing. Right.
You had promised Evelyn over brunch that you'd take care of Lila for the day, since she had errands to run and Mrs. Melody was out of town on a business meet, taking Jaune with her.
Ah. The memories started coming back then.
You smiled sheepishly as Evelyn looked you up and down, smirking at you teasingly. "You didn't forget I was coming, did you?" Her tone was playful, yet you couldn't help but feel guilty that you forgot your meeting with her. You smiled sheepishly as you scratched the back of your head, a nervous tic you couldn't seem to get rid of. You looked down to find Lila hiding behind her leg, giving you a small smile.
Your eyes softened at the sight of the girl with lavender hair, eyes wide and full of wonder just like her mother. You crouched down, sitting on the balls of your feet as you got to eye-level with her. "Heya sweetheart! You ready to spend the day with me?" You give her a soft smile as you cock your head to the side, your grin growing wider as Lila nods and slowly starts coming out from her hiding spot, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
Your heart warmed at the sight as you looked up at her mother, who was looking down at the both of you with something akin to pride. You smiled up at her, "I'll take good care of her." You reassured her, and she gave you a wide smile. "I know ya will." She shot back, before stepping to the side and out the door.
You smiled at her retreating form, closing the door behind you once she drives away. You turned to Lila, "Alright-y! Who's ready for your Auntie's/Uncle's famous oatmeal?!" you cheer, smiling when the lilac haired girl cheers back.
Ruffling her hair, you walk to the kitchen, pulling out a pot and starting to boil water in a kettle. You hum a song to yourself as Lila sits on a stool by your island, content to just sit and watch you make her favourite oatmeal.
Your tune rings out throughout the your house, and you love how Lila's humming joins in. It reminds you as to how you weren't alone in your house anymore.
A pressure against your leg and a purr snaps you out of your thoughts.
You forgot you had a cat.
It had been two days since then, the day that you and Bob started officially dating.
You smile down at Bean, leaving the oatmeal unattended for a bit to scratch behind her ears, enjoying the way she purrs louder and leans into your hand. Lila gasps and jumps off the stool, running around the counter to gape at the gorgeous creature with wide eyes.
