Mortals meet Demigods (Mist and No Mist)

A/N: I said I would update but I never did, so sorry about that. This character was requested by AVOGT153, sorry this took a long time to write. This probably isn't what you pictured and you requested this character a while ago but oh well.

Hello, my name is Katherine Mackenzie, but everyone calls me Kate. I have curly black hair that goes to about my mid-back. My best friend is Hazel Levesque. Boys keep trying to ask her out but she always declines saying she has a boyfriend. No one believes her though because no one has ever seen him.

I've met him though, his name is Frank. I met him at Camp Jupiter a while back. Did I mention that I'm a legacy of Apollo. My parents and I live in New Rome as do Hazel and Frank. We spend a lot of time together especially since Hazel and I are in the same grade and go to school together.

Anyway, earlier today this dude named Henry came up to Hazel and asked her on a date. He was all like, "Hey, baby, want to go on a date with me?" Then he winked and Hazel was like, "Ew, no, I have a boyfriend." He tried to tell her to dump him and that he's probably fake since no one has seen him.

We both glared at him and he left. Since then he's only bothered us a few times today, trying to get Hazel to go on a date with him. He's all like, "Please?" and she's all like, "No."

"Ugh, I wish these boys would just stop asking me out," Hazel groans.

"Oh, it's so hard to be me, with all these boys asking me out all the time," I mock, putting my hand on my forehead and pretending to faint. Hazel rolls her eyes but catching me so I don't actually fall.

"You know I have a boyfriend Kate," She says looking at me kind of sternly.

"I know, I know, I'm just joking around," I say. She rolls her eyes again. Seriously what is with this girl and rolling her eyes. Anyway, she starts walking towards a car that just pulled up. I realize that it's Frank's and run after her. Frank gets out of the car and she jumps into his arms. We haven't seen him in a while because he went to Canada to visit some family.

At that moment I see Jacob walk out of the school and watch as Hazel jumps into Frank's arms. They kiss and he gasps. He starts walking towards them, but I run and jump and tackle him. Hazel rolls her eyes at me tackling Jacob.

"What is your problem!" He yells at me.

"Sorry, but I can't let you get in the way of Frazel," I say.

"The hell is Frazel?" He asks.

"Hazel and Frank, frank is Hazel's boyfriend, he's the big dude with Hazel."

"Hazel wasn't lying when she said she had a boyfriend."

"No, she wasn't, Frank is just a few years older than us, he's in highschool."

"How did Hazel end up with a highschooler?" Some random boy asks. I think it's one of the ones that used to hit on her.

"They met at a camp we go to," I respond, "anyway, bye suckers!"

We all get into Frank's car and he drives us to Camp Jupiter. When I get home I animatedly tell my parents what happened.  It might have been a dramatic retelling but they don't need to know that.
