Hello! Welcome back to another chapter. I hope you enjoy this one.

As I walked passed the office at school, I glanced at my reflection in the glass, making sure my hair was gelled up perfectly. Today was the day I would finally ask Annabeth out. Now, I know what you're thinking, but I have my reasons.

#1. She's totally hot
#2. She's insanely smart
#3. She's the only girl that can win at dodgeball, even against me.
Do I really need to go on with this list?

Thankfully, we have 6th period together, which is gym. So I decided today I would ask her out. No girl in this school could resist my good looks, with my blond hair gelled back, and my blue eyes.

----Sixth Bell----

As soon as I entered the gymnasium, I spotted her.

Annabeth was standing in the corner listening to the coach tell the same rules for dodgeball. I walked up next to her.

"Hey there," I said smoothly. She didn't look at me, she was too interested with what the coach was saying.

"-so remember, if you catch a dodgeball, the person who threw it is out. Ok! Normal teams," The old coach said. Everyone started walking away toward one of the ends of the gym. I was on a decent team, but not good enough without Annabeth on it.

"Get ready! Get set! GO!" The coach shouted.

I grabbed a dodgeball and ran, hitting a person on the other team. And eventually, it was just me and Annabeth.

Annabeth's princess blonde curls were pulled back into a pony tail making her gray eyes even more startling. In her hands, she had a red dodgeball that was going to hit me. But I had a plan.

"Hey, Blondie!" I called at her as the gym class watched. "If you hit me with that dodgeball, you have to go out with me, or you can let me win and go out with me. Sound fair?"

"So, if I throw a dodgeball, or if you win, I have to go out with you?! I have a boyfriend you know."

My fellow students cheered at the date. No one believed that she has a boyfriend. They also knew Annabeth was too proud to lose and we had too many people watching to NOT make it happen.

Annabeth's eyebrow went up, questioning me. She rolled the dodgeball over to me.

"So fine, win. I can't throw it."

I grinned. I knew she liked me. I picked up the dodgeball and threw it gently at her.

Wham!

Annabeth stood there grinning as she had caught the ball.

"I'm not going on a date with you Max. I have a boyfriend. And by the way," Annabeth said as she saw my jaw drop, "you never said that catching wasn't allowed."

The coach stood up.

"Max, you're out!"

No kidding...

Hope you liked it!!
