Mortals Meet Percabeth

Kevin's POV- Greek Class Part 1

Kevin's POV

I scowled as I saw my nemesis, Percy Jackson. He's the only boy in the entire high school that's more popular than me. With his sea green eyes, scars, black hair and personality, he could get anyone he wants.

I on the other hand have blond hair, blue eyes and am star quarterback of the football team. I date the head cheerleader too. Call me cliché, but it's true.

Percy hangs out with the losers, Logan, Todd, and the twins, Jamie and Andrew. He probably pities them, because I've asked him to hang out with me and my group, but he turned it down in disgust. Jerk.

Today in Greek class, we had to read about some stupid mythology place with our group, including Percy, the world's greatest Greek student.

"What's out topic?" Percy asked, looking bored.

"Umm..." Hannah said. She had a crush on Percy instead of me. She looked down at the sheet of paper that Mr. Brunner had passed out to us. "Tartarus."

Percy's eyes widened and he looked terrified. Tears started forming in his eyes. A part of me wanted to comfort him. But the part of me that won, was the teasing side.

"What's the matter Jackson?" I teased. "Too scared to study Tartarus?"

Percy screamed and crashed to the ground, falling unconscious. Mr. Brunner wheeled himself over and grabbed the paper he passed out to us and sighed.

"Give me your cell phone," Mr. Brunner said to me. Too shocked on what was happening, I have him my phone. He dialed a number and started talking in Greek urgently to a girl.

He then moved his attention to Percy and was talking quietly to him.

"Annabeth will be here as soon as Nico can get her here."

Percy was screaming and... Crying. Loudly, he sobbed and cried, heartbroken. It made me wonder how he got the scars that littered his body.

A girl entered the room. She had blonde hair that curled and gray eyes that calculated my every movement. She had a nice tan and an athletic build. She was hot, to say the least.

"Hey babe," I said smoothly as she walked passed me.

She went straight to Percy and sat down against the wall where Percy was slumped on. Great. Another girl obsessed with Percy.

Percy was still sobbing as the girl brought his head down into her lap.

"I gave him the wrong paper. Brought back flashbacks of... You know," Mr. Brunner told the girl. "I was hoping that you could help him out, Annabeth."

Annabeth nodded as tears formed in her gray eyes. She began whispering things to Percy, as he was yelling and crying.

I looked around the room. Everyone was in shock and quiet, watching the scene unfold as Annabeth calmed Percy down. Eventually, Percy woke up and was still crying.

"They were every where," Percy sobbed.

"I know Seaweed Brain. It's over now," She whispered.

Percy got up and hugged Annabeth. They were both crying quietly now.

"I love you Wise Girl," Percy whispered.

"I love you too, Seaweed Brain," Annabeth whispered back.

I looked at Hannah, who looked only upset for a minute, then happy. I wonder what she was thinking. I as not happy, the cute blonde girl was taken.

Eventually, Percy and Annabeth got up and walked over to a scrawny boy dressed in black was standing.

"You think you can make it out for the rest of the day?" The kid asked quietly.

Percy shook his head and Annabeth answered, "We can just go to Sally's for now. It's close enough that we can all walk, so it's not too much for you Nico."

What the hell? Percy breaks down and cries and gets to go home with a hot girl and I don't?!

"Hey, you can't go yet," I yelled, obviously angered.

"Yes. He. Can," Annabeth answered, "We've been through more than you ever could ever believe."

Everyone looked to Mr. Brunner, "Percy, you can leave. I'll let the school know."

Annabeth nodded and walked hand in hand with Percy out of the class room.

Mr. Brunner turned to Nico, "Keep an eye on those two. The gods only know how they'll make it through this one."

Nico nodded and went to go join the two love birds. Mr. Brunner watched sadly as they all left.

Then the bell rang.
