Hi, I'm Justin, you're typical jock. I can have any girl I want and am captain of the football.
Speaking of girls, there's one girl that's not like the rest. Annabeth Chase. She's got blonde curls, gray eyes, and can kick anyone's ass. Seriously, I saw Kevin, the school's basketball star get judo flipped for not leaving her alone. You see, the only person that she talks to is Percy Jackson.
Percy on the other hand, is well... Let's just say that we're rivals. Enemies. Arch nemesis. Whatever you want to say, because when he transferred back to Goode, he stole all of my popularity. Now all eyes are on him instead of me. Not cool.
Anyway, I saw Annabeth in the lunchroom, and decided to go up to her and ask her to tutor me in Greek. That's my fool proof plan.
She loves Greece and she speaks the language. Annabeth also loves education, so how could she reject me?
So, as I was summoning the rest of my courage, guess who sits down next to her? You guessed it! Percy Jackson.
I was too close to just bail- I had go through with this awful plan.
"Hey Annabeth!" I said cheerfully.
Annabeth's gray eyes meet mine. Percy scoots closer to her.
"Yes? It's Jake, right?" Annabeth asks.
Ouch.
"No, it's Justin, but close!" I joke. I'm losing her, I gotta act fast! "So, Annabeth, you're in Sixth Bell Greek Class, right?" Annabeth nods. "Well, I noticed that you're top of the class, and I'm... Well not. I was wondering if you could tutor me...?"
Everybody, hold your breath and cross your fingers. If she says yes, I can hear our wedding bells. If not, well...
Annabeth considers my proposal. "I think so. I'm all for education, and it just so happens that I'm starting a study group for Greek at the library. Percy is helping me teach it." Annabeth smiles- and it's a nice, warm smile.
Her smile almost makes it up for the fact that Percy will be there. Almost.
"Alright, well thank you so much Annabeth, let me know when you work out the details!" I call as I start walking back to my group of friends.
I'm not sure if I should call this walk, the walk of shame, or of fame. To late to tell.

Mortals Meet Percabeth
FanfictionA bunch of one-shots of Percy and Annabeth through the eyes of mortals and a few demigods. I try my best to not make a super cliché one shot, so most of them aren't in High School. I do not own Percy Jackson, as I am not Rick Riordan.
