LUFFY & THE BEAUTIFUL COOK

"Luffy! Where the hell are you now? There's a lot of meat here!" Sanji said to their stupid captain as they talked through the transponder snail.

Luffy ran away from the sunny to gather some food and also to have a mini-adventure in the island where they departed. He doesn't know the name of the island though.

"Really? Great! Wait for me!" Luffy answered happily with his eyes sparkling.

He then started to ran on the way to the seaside where the Sunny is. Thank God he's somehow good in directions unlike Zoro.

But before he could take another step, a delicious and intoxicating scent filled his nose. His eyes sparkled more. Food! It was a smell of a delicious food! It smells like Sanji's cooking. But it's different in some ways.

Luffy's smile widened before he roamed his eyes around the town. He want to taste that food before they leave this island. Then his eyes landed on a small store or should he say a mini-restaurant where the smell came from. He didn't waste any second and drag his feet towards it.

The smell is getting stronger and stronger and it's making him salivate. Yum! I can't wait to taste it! Luffy thought.

He entered the store without any words and he was welcomed by a cozy place inside it. He gasped and wandered his eyes around. It was a mini-restaurant indeed. But there is no customer yet. He is the only person inside.

"Who the heck are you?" a soft yet firm voice spoke from behind him so he turned around.

She saw a girl wearing a yellow apron and a red floral dress paired with a black stiletto. She's five feet tall and standing elegantly. Her menacing eyes where looking at Luffy.

Luffy was rooted on his feet for a couple of seconds as he studied the girls face. Oh, she's so beautiful. He want to say it but he can't even move a single nerve to say something. He didn't know that as time passed by, his heart was also pounding harder and harder.

On the other perspective, you are trying to recognize the dumb-looking guy infront of you. He looks really, really familiar.

You blinked when the man just keep staring at you. His eyes never left yours.

"Hey!" you snapped. "Why are you here inside? Didn't you see the card on the door saying 'we're closed'?"

But instead of answering you, he asked back. You was taken aback when the man stepped forward and stopped only inches from your body. You straightened your back.

"W-What are you doing?" you whispered nervously.

"What's your name?" the man asked.

"Why would I give you my name? I don't even know you!" you started to panick.

"Your name," the man insisted. "Please."

You saw the determination in his eyes so you sighed and gave up. "My name is y/n. Now, what do you want?"

"I'm Monkey D. Luffy. Please call me by my name, y/n." Luffy said, smiling widely.

You are about to speak when Luffy suddenly looked behind you. He walked passed to you and made his way towards the kitchen like he own the place. You can't help but to gape at his confidence. You followed Luffy and saw him smelling the pot where you're making your soup.

"Hm! Smells delicious and yummy!" Luffy looked at you. "I want to taste this, y/n. Can I have it?"

Luffy was making a puppy face!

You blinked and swallowed the lump on your throat. "I'm sorry, but no-"

"Please?" Luffy begged. You stepped back when he leaned in closer to you. "Let me have it, y/n."

You have no choice but to answer, "A-Alright. You can have it."

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" he jumped with a wide smile on his lips. "Thank you!"

You secretly smiled. He's cute. But your soul almost left your body when you felt Luffy's arms encircling around your body. It lasted for a second before he let you go. You can feel something rolling in your stomach. You can feel your cheeks burning.

"It's so yummy, y/n! So yummy! Delicious!" Luffy said as he started eating. "Thank you for the food!"

You pressed your lips together and sighed. You secretly slapped your burning face. This man is really something. How can he be so cute and manly at the same time?

You sat beside Luffy and watched him enjoying the food you cooked. You can't help but to smile. Everytime, he would look back at you and say how to delicious your food is. It's making you feel appreciated and happy. This is the first time that someone is complimenting your cooking nonstop.

"Hey, y/n." Luffy called you all of the sudden.

"Yes?"

"Do you want to come over my ship? It is really fun there! My friends will surely like you."

"Your... ship?" your eyes slightly widened. "Uh, are you some kind of ship owner?"

"Pirate, y/n. I'm a pirate," Luffy said casually.

When you heard what he said, your mind went blank for a second. You brain can't process what he said.

"P-Pirate?" your eyes widened.

"Hm," Luffy nodded.

"Uhm... are you Straw Hat Luffy? The captain of the infamous Straw Hat Pirates?" you asked him, looking at his straw hat.

It is exactly the hat that Monkey D. Luffy was wearing on the wanted poster.

Luffy swallowed the food first before answering, "I am."

Your covered your gaping mouth with a hand. "Oh, gosh..."

You stood up and ran your hands through your hair. You are about to drop on the floor when an arm caught your waist. It was none other than Luffy's.

"Y/n! What's wrong?" Luffy asked in a worried tone.

You opened your eyes and saw Luffy's face only inches from you. Your noses are almost touching each other. You gulped and at the same time, your breath stopped.

"I... I'm a huge fan," you whispered, gasping for some air.

And before Luffy could even speak, you passed out on his arms.
