Maya's POV
After we ate Caleb took me back to my house. My family was back from the beach. So we all just watched TV. And I went up to my room.

I was on my computer until I got a text from a random number I didn't in know. I opened up the text and it was Caleb kissing another girl.

The caption said He is mine stay away from him . I threw my phone and cried into my pillow. I guess someone walked by

my room because I heard a knock on the door. When the door opened it was Eliza. I wiped away my tears and Eliza sat on my bed next to me.

Our conversation
E:Eliza. M:Maya
E: what's wrong Maya
M: nothing
E: I know somethings wrong Maya please tell me
I showed mher my phone and she said
E:what a jerk
M: I thought he was different from any other guy
E: I thought he was too
Then she hugged me and said
E: I love you Maya so much
M: I love you too

After that I begged her not to tell mom or dad. She said she wouldn't. Caleb was trying to call me but I just ignored him.

Caleb's POV
I decided to call Maya to see what she was up to. I called her once but she didn't answer me. So I called her at least 30 times.

She didn't answer. I began to worry so I texted her is everything OK what's wrong. She replied back with don't worry about you don't even care about me

I said Maya I love you what are you taking about please meet me at the park in five minutes please
She texted back fine.

Maya's POV
Caleb asked me to meet him at the park. As much as I didn't want to I agreed. I guess I should let him explain himself.

I changed into blue yoga pants and a black sweatshirt. I grabbed my phone and headed downstairs. I asked my mom if she could take me to the park

because I can't drive with a broken foot. She said yes and she dropped me off at the park. I saw Caleb on the bench and I sat next to me.

M: Maya. C: Caleb
M: I thought you were different from the rest
C: what did I do
I showed him the message. His face grew with anger.
C: I now who exactly that is
M: who is it
C: well that's me but that's my ex-girlfriend from my 9th grade year
M: Caleb you better not be lieing to me
C: I'm not Maya I love you look I have proof
He then grabbed his phone and texted someone
M: who are you texting
C: Annie
M: why
C: she will tell you the truth I'm asking her what grade did I date Lindsey
I guess she texted back because he showed me my phone Annie put you dated her in 9th grade why
C: see I told you
M: im sorry Caleb I just didn't want to get hurt.
C; don't worry Maya I will never hurt you

He leaned and kissed me on the lips. I leanded in and kissed him back but this time it was long. We both came up for air then kissed each other again.
