Remembering

It's been a couple of weeks now since I left the hospital. Thankfully my parents came into town to help with me with everything I needed. The first couple of days coming back to the house was not easy. I would get nightmares and a lot of anxiety, thinking about that night. It hurt so much just being there. Mia and my parents cleaned out the house when the police were down investigating the house. But still the memories were still there. Instead I would some nights stay with Noah. Yes my parents did meet Noah and they liked him since the moment they met him. Both my parents thanked Noah for being there for me as well with Mia. They cried which made me cry and we all cried together. I'm staying at Noah's for the night and all I've done was try to get my work done and Noah keeps telling me that I shouldn't, I should be relaxing and taking it easy. My professors gave me an automatic A on everything because of what happen to me saying "one less thing to worry about" I didn't want that I wanted to work hard for that grade not because of what happened to me. But Noah step in and changed my mind I still do work so I can at least say I worked for that grade even if it doesn't count.

"Xoch I thought you were gonna but your computer away and watch the movie with me?" I said when I came in my room with popcorn and some drinks. "I know and I'm sorry I just really wanted to do something for a bit, I've been in this room for 3 days now and I feel like I'm going crazy" she said closing her laptop and putting it on the nightstand. "I know it sucks but you have to get better because you can't go outside plus doctors order not mine, you had a seizure when you got in front of your house when you first came out of the hospital." The day Xoch was released from the hospital she started to get anxiety and really nervous driving up the road to her house she started to have a seizure and went back to the hospital. Since then she's tried to stay at her house but could never stay more then 5 minutes before getting dizzy and passing or worst getting another seizure. In total she's had 3 seizures so far since she's stayed with me no seizure so far. I look at her and saw that she wanted to cry. I put the stuff down on top of my dresser and walked over to the bed and hugged her. She started to cry when her head hit my shoulder. I wanted to cry too but I knew I had to be strong for her. A minute ago by but she started to say" I'm sorry I just can't take it anymore you know why me? why did this happen to me? Why am I the one in pain?" She continues to say, I feel so bad for her if I could trade places with her I would in a heart beat no question asked. She deserves better then this all she has ever done was harder work and be a good human being on this earth. I put my hand over hers to let her know that I'm listening to everything she is saying, I don't understand what she is going through but all I know is that she's not going through it alone. "Listen to me you are stronger than anyone I ever met, I know this is hurt for you believe me wish I can take this pain you have away I would but I can't. But what I can do is be here for you no matter what you need I'm here I'm here for it all, the doctor appointment, nightmares, the all nighters. Point being I'm here and not just me you have Mia, your parents, your family back home, and even the guys here who I know for sure want nothing but the best for you. I can't promise you the world would be safe when you walk outside but I can promise you I will be by your side and face the world together." I saw her smile a little bit and I wanted to kiss her so bad but I didn't know if it was the right time to do so. I smiled back and kissed her hand instead. I lifted my head up and before I knew she graded me by my face and kissed me. I felt butterflies in my stomach, of course I kissed her back, it felt amazing just like I did when I first kissed her in the pool. We kissed for a good minute in till I heard knocking on the door. I pulled away slowly trying to hold the kiss for a bit longer before getting up and opening up the door. I opened it and saw it was Bryce. "Hey dude what's up?" I said stepping back for him to come inside the room. Smiled and looked at Xoch. "Nothing man I just wanted to see how Xoch was doing?" Xoch smiled and said" I'm doing better thank you again Bryce for letting me stay here I don't know how I can repay you for this" She said trying to get up and walking over to him to give him a hug. They hugged for a second till Bryce said" You don't have to thank me you're welcome here anytime, mi casa es you casa, I think that's how you say it anyways...it's your home Xoch all the guys here want you to get better and stay here as long as you like you're like family to us and you have help us with a lot so it's time we return the favor, please anything you need let us know" he said and smiled. After a minute he's about to go outside before Xoch spoke up. "Thank you Bryce this means a lot to me, and actually there is something you can do for me." Bryce and I looked at each other confused but then looked back at Xoch. "Remember that party you had not the long ago? When Mia and I came too?" Bryce nods yes "Do you think I can see the security cameras from that night?" Bryce said," Yeah you can but why?" She looked down then looked up and said" Because I think the guy that did this to me was at the party"

I looked at Xoch. "What do you mean you?...You saw him at the party" I waited for her to say something but she just nodded. "I know it's sounds crazy but the more I thought about the whole break in I just started to remember and I've seen him before" I was about to say something but Bryce beat me to it. "But besides that everyone who was at the party was invite only no outsiders were let in...Are you sure you saw him at the party because if you did it's someone we know we all know." We all stayed quite for a minute till I said,"Bryce can I have a minute alone with Xoch?" He nods and started to walk to the door before saying "I will come back with my laptop to check the cameras that night" We both nodded and then he left. "I know this is crazy Noah but I really think I saw him at the party. You believe me right?" I look at her and nodded. "Of course I do I just can't wrap my head around that it was someone we know." We stayed quite for a second but I said" When do you think you saw him around what time? Before or after we met?" She looked down and said" After we met, we walked into the house and then you went to the bathroom and I went to go look for Mia, I was looking for a good minute, I even went through the whole house, I went back outside to see if she was there and I just missed her but she wasn't so I went back inside and when I went back in through the door I bumped into someone and I apologized looked at him and he said "No worries you're good babe" he smiled and walked out. I didn't really think about it so that's when I called Mia and forgot about it" "Do you remember how he looked like?" "I only saw a second of his face, he had his hood up so you can barely see his face" I nodded. "What about the clothes he was wearing? Did he have any designer on like a necklace, ring or bracelet?" She didn't say nothing for a minute or so. I started to realized she kept playing with her hands a lot and walking up and down the room. Breathing really hard as well. "Xoch? You okay?" I said trying to get near her. She stopped for a second and just looked at me, didn't say a word just looked. She started to cry too. I got near her but then all of a sudden she pushes me away. Making me hit the wall on the other side of the room. I hit my head and back a bit. "Xoch what the heck was that for?" Before I could say anything else she came right towards me.

My body hit the floor. I felt like the wind was knocked out of me for a second. I can still hear Xoch breathing hard and crying. I tried to get up but I can't my body was hurting really bad. I tried to look at her but the door was open...she was gone.
