When I started to get close to Xoch's house I see cop cars lined up and down her street. I started to worry and thought something happened to her. I pulled up in her driveway and see that cops were everywhere. I parked in front of her drive way and got out. I walked into her house and saw glass all over. I kept thinking on what the hell happened. I saw a police women and went up to her. "Excuse me officer could you tell me what happened here?" "And who might you be?" I got a little nervous. "I'm Xochitl's boyfriend Noah." She looked at me with a shocked face. "Um I'm sorry to be the one to tell you but she was attacked last night and was taken to the hospital." My heart dropped. "What hospital?" "RoseWater." After she told me I quickly ran to my car and headed over there as fastest I can. As I was driving my phone started ringing. I saw on my car's screen it was a random number, I answered it. "Hello?" "Noah it's Mia, Xoch's friend Blake gave your number I'm calling you because I know you and Xoch are talking and I wanted to let you know that she's in the hospital." "I know." "You know?" I got to the hospital and text Mia I was here looking for parking. After parking my car I went to the front where I saw a girl waving at me. "Wish we could have met under a different circumstances." She said right before giving me a hug. "You're right how is she?" "The doctor said that she's stable but won't know for a couple of hours." We stopped at the elevators. "God the one time I'm not home this happens, I shouldn't have leave it alone." She said trying not to cry. "Hey don't do that to yourself you couldn't have know none of us could." She nodded and the elevator opened up. We got in, she push the button and the doors close. "Before you see her you should know something...the doctor said that she might of broken a rib and a piece of it pock a whole in her lung which is filling up with blood and making hard for her to breathe so they put a tube down her throat for help. She hasn't woken up yet so prepared yourself okay? I nod. She walked in front of me and opened the door to her room.

I felt a tear running down my face. I walked up next to her bed. Seeing her body lifeless and her connected to mechanics is more then I thought I could handle. I stepped back and began to to cry more. I felt Mia's hand rubbing my back as I had my hands covering my face. "Hey she's gonna be okay, don't worry." She said. I pulled my hands away from my face. "I need to tell you something." I looked at her. She looked confused. "Yeah let's go outside." She went to the door and I looked at Xoch one more time before leaving the room.
