Kenny:
You met Will when he had just turned two. He had lost his mother tragically in a mugging when he was just three months old and you tried to be a mother to him to the best of your abilities. You were desperately in love with his father and now a year later, you and Kenny found yourself pregnant with another baby. This time a little girl. Will couldn't have been more excited. The little boy already referred to you as his mother and he was beyond thrilled to have another addition to his small family.
You laid in bed beside him, happy to finally rest your swollen feet and aching back, as you read Will his favorite bedtime story. But as usual, he wasn't listening. Whenever you were beside him, Will's brunette head laid on your growing belly or his hands roamed it, desperate for some type of communication with his baby sister. And when she did move or kick, you would swear that Will's smile could light up the entire world. Sometimes it became overwhelming; having someone's hands on you at all times especially on your moodiest of days, but Will's smile made it all worth while.
You felt it just as soon as he did. A big kick to your abdomen. You lurched forward slightly out of reflex and Will pulled back with confusion set in his eyes.
"Ouch" you muttered, rubbing over the spot where your baby girl had kicked especially hard.
Will's face changed completely. He wore a stern expression, almost as if he was angry. You'd never seen it before, but the way he scrunched up his nose and puckered his little lips made you want to laugh.
"Hey!" He spoke to your belly as you watched in awe.
"No hurting Mommy!" He said seriously.
"She's being nice carrying you around all the time, so don't you kick too hard!" He argued with your belly.
As a reaction to his words, your stomach settled but your heart swelled at seeing just how much you really meant to the little boy.
You smiled.
"She stopped now" you informed him.
"Good" he replied, that stern expression cemented to his face.
You giggled.
"Alright official bedtime" you said and Will crawled under his sheets, sighing.
You leaned over to give Will a kiss.
"You know something? You're going to be a great big brother" you told him and he smiled sleepily.
"You're a great Mommy" he mumbled back.
Maybe it was the hormones, but you began tearing up at the sweetness of his words.
"I love you Will" you whispered, tucking him in tightly, turning off the light, and walking down the hall.

Sammy:
Colin Wilkinson was nothing like what you'd expected. You stood eagerly in the elementary school's parking lot awaiting a little boy with striking features, straight dark hair, probably spiked into some ridiculous hairstyle by his father, and the same casual cool demeanor. You spotted one or two boys that met that description somewhat closely but when Sam smiled and held out his arms for his son, you were completely surprised to see a small dusty-blonde, curly-headed boy with glasses running towards him.
"Hey buddy!" Sam called to him before gathering him in his arms.
The little boy's face held a look of confusion although ultimately he was smiling.
"I thought Mommy was coming today?" He asked.
"No bud, today's Thursday, remember?" Sam reminded his little boy.
"Oh" he replied simply before his eyes landed on you.
"Who's that?" He whispered in his father's ear.
Sam smiled.
"This is (Y/N). You remember me talking about her, right?" Sam asked.
Colin nodded, pushing his glasses up his nose.
"Hi Colin!" You waved shyly and he waved back.
"I'm sorry for intruding on your day with your Daddy, I just really wanted to meet you!" You said, sounding maybe a little too enthusiastic due to nervousness.
"It's okay" he replied in a small voice.
Sammy smiled between the two of you.
"Alright, let's go!" He announced, placing Colin on the ground and holding onto his hand as you walked to the car.
Sam settled his son in the backseat while you settled in the passenger seat, still buzzing with anxiety, desperate to make a good impression on the eight-year-old. Sam noticed your nervousness once he took his place in the driver's seat and squeezed your thigh reassuringly. You smiled back weakly as Sam put the car in drive, his usual rap blaring as soon as the car started.
"Daddy, can you play my station?" Colin called from the backseat.
"Oh, yeah. Sure thing buddy" he replied, his fingers fumbling with the stereo's buttons for a moment.
You expected some kind of kid's music channel but when Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" started playing you smiled widely from pleasant surprise.
"I love this song!" Both you and Colin said in unison, causing you both to glance at each other with wide eyes.
Then you both smiled. You looked to Sammy who was rolling his eyes and trying his hardest to repress a smile.
"Oh no, you too?" Sam asked.
You grinned.
"Duh. Classic rock rules!" You stated, turning up the volume as both you and Colin hummed along on the ride home.
Suddenly getting to know Sammy's son didn't seem so frightening.

Shawn:
Lily had been...unexpected to say the least. Shawn was on yet another big tour and though he never tired of his dream, he was beginning to wonder if he could be chasing new ones. He'd always wanted kids, but it was always just a thought, until one of his exes called to inform him that she was pregnant. The news rocked his world, but it was nothing to the way his world rocked when he first held the tiny girl in his arms, promising to protect her at all costs. But that became especially hard to do when Lily's mother bailed on him, claiming she didn't want to be under his spotlight anymore. So now he was a single father and incredibly busy and successful musician, and he knew he couldn't do it all on his own.
You were almost instantly hired to nanny for the little girl, as your resume and background of dealing with children was extensive and impressive. Shawn knew you were the best choice for his daughter, but he soon found himself in deep waters when he began to develop feelings for you. I mean how could he not? You were certainly beautiful and absolutely adored by Lily, but more than that; you cared for him. If he had a particularly stressful day you would offer to talk with him about it, usually as you spoonfed Lily her dinner.
It happened slowly and really without him even realizing, but he was falling hard. He smiled constantly when you were around and found you on his mind all the time, even beginning to incorporate you into his music. It was then that he knew he had to tell you.
You were packing up to leave as Shawn called you into the kitchen.
"Hey (Y/N)?"
"Yes?" You answered, almost immediately appearing in the doorway of the spacious kitchen, your purse slung over your shoulder.
"Would you mind staying for a bit? I kind of just want to talk" he said, smiling awkwardly.
You shifted your purse off your shoulder and eyed him warily as you took a seat across from him.
"Oh god, I'm not in trouble am I?" You asked half-jokingly.
"Um, no" he laughed out of nervousness.
"But I think I might be"
You furrowed your brow.
"Shawn, what are you talking about?"
He sighed deeply before laying it all out.
"(Y/N), I think I have feelings for you. And I'm not sure when or how they started but I can't get them to go away. And I felt that it was only right of me to let you know. If you're uncomfortable with this, I completely understand, I can try to find someone else, I just-"
"Oh thank God" you interrupted him, sighing with relief.
"Huh?" Shawn was dumbfounded.
You laughed.
"I've kind of been having feelings for you too..." You confessed sheepishly.
He was taken aback.
"Wait...seriously?!"
You nodded.
Shawn found himself smiling and standing to meet you as you immediately pressed your bodies and lips together. And in that moment you didn't care if it was wrong, or unprofessional, when it felt so right.
"I guess I need to find a new Nanny then" he chuckled as he pulled away.
