Author's pov:
Few days rolled by as ash and carrot has become more closer. Today ash wore his normal cloths to go and find carrot but he was stopped by serena.
"Prince Ash! Mind if I ask where you are going?" His house staying mate serena asked.
"Just going to see the city" ash sweat dropped.
"Oh that seems fun! Can I come too" Serena asked.
"Uhm I'm sorry princess! But I can't take you with me" Ash apologised.
"But-" Serena was cut off by queen Delia.
"Serena dear! Can you come here for a moment?" Delia called.
"Coming queen Delia" Serena told.
Serena turned her head towards ash again.
"You will be back soon, right prince ash?" Serena asked.
"Yes princess" ash bowed and left the palace.
He was walking on the streets when he heard a sweet sound of violin. As soon as he heard it, he knew who is playing it.
Ash smiled to himself and started running towards the source of the sound.
Soon he could see a crowd, he gently pushed himself into the crowd and made his way to the front. When he finally catch the view in front of him, he forgot the whole world. He was impressed as he could see carrot playing violin and some of the kids dancing to it. Ash was smiling without him knowing.
After a few minutes carrot stopped playing as she opened her eyes to see her now-close-friend. She smiled at him. Ash smiled back. Carrot waved to everyone and grabbed ash by his hands and dragged him away.
"You did a great job playing that violin" ash said.
"Thank you blue" carrot smiled.
"Where are we going?" Ash asked.
"I don't know, I just wanted to walk without any aim" carrot said.
"Is there anything special about it?" Ash asked.
"I can spend more time with you" carrot smiled.
Hearing that made ash blush a lot. He didn't reply to that but instead he was feeling super happy as he has the world in his hands.
They were walking until a old lady called ash.
"Young man, please come here" the old lady called.
Ash looked at carrot. "Wait here"
Carrot nodded.
"Yes mam?" ash asked.
"I'm a fortune-teller, do you need to know anything?" She asked.
"No mam! Thank you" ash politely said.
"I'll tell you something, you aren't a normal person" she told.
Hearing this made ash to feel a scared for some reason.
"And you have met the perfect life partner of yours, she is hiding something really big that she doesn't want you to know for good, but whatever you do, don't let her leave your life" she finished.
Ash was speechless there are many questions running in his mind now. What did she called him out of all people?, why did she specify the life partner of his? And something more.
"How much for this mam?" Ash asked.
"No need for money young man, I just did my job" she smiled.
Ash walked to carrot who is still waiting for ash.
"What did she say?" Carrot asked.
"Uhm nothing much" ash lied.
"Ok" carrot shrugged.
After that ash and carrot spend some time together then carrot decided to ask a question.
"Uhm blue? What would you do if I get married?" Carrot asked.
"But you said you don't like to marry now" ash told.
"That's right, but something doesn't feel right" carrot said hanging down her head.
Ash put his hand in carrot's cheek and made her to face him.
"It's okay carrot, remember what I told you that day? First say that you love someone else if he didn't care. Say that you love almost every men that you see and have dated them. Even if he doesn't care about it, say you have slept with many men that you can't count" ash repeated. "This will make you as a bad person in his view, so that he will reject you"
"Okay, are you sure that he will reject me?" Carrot asked.
"Absolutely" ash smiled.
Carrot smiled back and hugged ash " Thank you so much blue"
Ash's face turned bright red.
"Oh it's almost time! I'll see you later blue" carrot said.
Ash waved nervously.
After misty was out of his sight. Ash made his way to his home.
When ash made his way to his palace. His mother stopped him.
"Ash dear! Where have you been?" Delia asked.
"Just went to see the city! What happened mother?" Ash asked seeing the expression of his mother.
"Tomorrow is a big day ash!" Delia said.
"What about Tomorrow mother?" Ash asked calmly.
"What! Have you forgotten already? Tomorrow you have to chose you bride" Delia said.
Suddenly ash's Calm was all gone and now he is filled with panic.
"WHAT?!" Ash screamed.
"What?! Did you really forgot?" Delia asked shockingly.
"What? Forgot? Who? me? No way" ash smiled nervously to the fact that he forgot the biggest day of his life.
"If you say so" Delia said. Ash smiled nervously again.
"Now go rest dear! You have to be energetic Tomorrow" Delia smiled.
"Ok mother" ash asked walking towards his room fastly and closed the door.
"How could you forgot about this?" Ash asked himself.
"Ok ash calm down, calm down" ash tried calming himself down.
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath and released it.
Once he calm down he started thinking about carrot.
And also the thing that the fortune-teller said.
All of this made ash confuse a lot. He then felt panicked But he decided to sleep for a bit in order to recollect himself to think of a better solution.
Soon ash drafted to sleep.
