9.Choose her

Ash's pov:

As I was able to see her face, I couldn't be more shock.

She has long orange hair which is opened freely and she has the beautiful green eyes.

It's....

"....carrot!" I murmured under my breath.

"What was that ash?" Gary asked.

"N-nothing" I said.

As I turned my attention back to main hall.

"You seriously need to learn how to act around peoples, serena" she told.

"You don't have to say that, loser" Serena told.

"Just shut up serena" carrot said.

Then carrot made Cassidy get up. "Get up, you don't need to do that!"

"Why are you here? Thinking the prince would choose you? Ha! that will never happen because he is gonna choose me" serena told and some princess behide Serena laughed and cheered for serena.

"That means the people who live in kalos can live happily now!, poor Palletians (people who live in Pallet) " carrot roasted serena.

Serena groaned and stamped her feet.

"Let's go girls" serena told as some princess followed her.

"Are you okay?" Carrot asked Cassidy.

"Y-yeah!" Cassidy said, I can feel that she is scared.

"It's okay now, you don't have to be scared, Jessie will take care of your wounds, right Jessie?" Carrot asked to her personal maid.

"Of course I will take care" that maid smiled.

"All the princesses are asked to be here as the prince is going to be here soon" one of the helper said.

"Oh seems like I have to go, take care I'll be back shortly" carrot said and waked towards the crowd of princesses.

"Ash! You have to get going" gary remained me.

"Oh yeah!" I said as I got a plan.

"Gary, I'll wear that" I announced.

"Wear what?!" He asked.

"That stupid hat" I said as I grabbed the cap from his hands and put it on.

"Well....that was random" he said.

Then we both walked down as all the princesses bowed down for me.

"I'll kindly ask all the princesses to be in their position as the prince is going to choose his bride now" gary told.

Every princesses is moved and stood in their respective position.

I started walking passing some of the princesses.

I stood in front of carrot. 'So you are a princess of somewhere, huh? That's why you don't say your name' I thought.

She closed her eyes shut and then I heard her saying something. I sharpened my ears to hear what she is saying.

"Please don't choose me, please don't choose me...." I heard her murmuring.

I looked down and found her fingers are crossed in order to get more luck.

I smiled inside that hide-your-face-cap.

Then i walked passed her and stood in front of serena, you know? To spice up things.

I saw Serena smiling ear to ear. I saw carrot made out a relief sign.

Then I took a step back and I said. "I choose you!" Of course I changed my voice a little so that she won't recognize me.

Carrot looked confuse. "M-me? Are you sure?"

"Yes you!" I confirmed.

Everyone clapped and congratulates us except for few people.

"I want to talk to you.....in private" carrot said.

"Sure" I said and followed her. She took me to a balcony where no one was present.

"So?" I asked.

"I'm....I'm in love with someone else" she said quickly.

Oh I know this trick, I'm the one who taught her.

"It's okay, you can love me now" I said.

"I have a lot of boyfriends and I'll fall in love with the boys i just met" she said.

Oh no, I won't fall for that.

"It's okay, I don't mind that" I said.

"I....I....I have slept with them" she said with her eyes closed. "With all of them"

I didn't talk for a moment. I guess she think that she won as I saw her lips made a small smile.

"Then...." I took a few steps closer to her. "I'll also become one of them"

I said in a sexy voice. Our faces were inches apart.

"W-what?" Carrot said with a tiny blush on her face.

"Why? Is there anything wrong?" I asked. Pretending that I Don't know anything.

"N-nothing" she said as she walked away quickly.

Then my mother approached me. She is walking so fast with a unreadable expression on her face.

'Oh no, is she mad at me for not choosing the princess of cerulean city?' I thought

She stood in front of me.

"I can explain mo-" I was cut off by her hugging me. "Huh?!"

"I know that you won't let me down, son" she said.

"What are you saying mother?" I asked.

"Aww now you act like you don't know? I'm happy because you choose the princess of cerulean city" she said with a full smile on her face.

'The princess of cerulean city?! So that legendary princess of cerulean city Everyone talks about is carrot?!' I thought.

"Oh I have to tell my friends that you choose the princess of cerulean city" my mother said and walked away happily.

"Now I request our beloved prince and his soon-to-be-wife here to introduce yourself to everyone" someone said.

I walked to the main hall and stood in front of all. Then carrot joined me.

"Greetings to everyone present here, I guess I dont have to introduce myself because you all know me. Thanks for appearing here and to all the princesses please don't worried because you are all gonna be chosen by someone who is better than me! Thank you" I finished.

"Hello everyone, I'm the princess of cerulean city, I don't have anything to say because I'm speechless of what happened today" she said.

I can get what she is referring to.

"And I'm Misty waterflower" she said.

'Misty?! So her name is misty waterflower?! I finally found your name carrot' I smirked to myself.

Everyone cheered and the rest of the party went well.

'I suppose i can marry someone I love' I thought.
