Winters.

Suzanne got me a ride back to my apartment very quickly. And with that I was done. It was so...quick.

What the fuck happened?

I sat on my couch and tried not to cry. I couldn't think.

Why didn't Lloyd do anything? Why didn't he stand up for me?

I thought there was maybe something. Maybe something between us.

And that's when the tears started.

Hansen.

I grabbed my keys from my bedroom and quickly ran downstairs.

I was done. I needed to go see Ayden. Not only that, but she forgot her meds in my car, and everything with it.

"Lloyd?" Suzanne said.

"What?!" I said.

"Where are you going?"

"Aydens."

"I don't think she would wanna see you." Suzanne said.

"She forgot her meds."

"Lloyd."

"Suzanne! Shut up and go sit in the corner! Jesus. Stay out of my life." I said.

She stayed quiet. Fuckin a.

"I'm sorry. I don't mean that." I said as I walked out. I went out to the car and sighed.

I needed to see her. I needed to...finally apologize.

I walked into Ayden's apartment. I knew how to break in anywhere.

She was sitting on her couch, obviously crying.

I carried her things in and shut the door.

She sniffed and looked over at me. "Lloyd get out." She said.

"You forgot your meds."

She laid her head back and tried to stop crying. I normally didn't care if people cried, but Ayden was different.

I came over and sat down next to her. I didn't know what to do in these situations.

"Look. You can come and work for me." I said.

"It's not about that." She said. "You left me, and you didn't say anything. And you lied."

"I know."

She sat up and tried to stop crying.

"Ayden I...I do care about you. And there are feelings involved. There are feelings that I have for you." I said as I rubbed the back of my neck.

Ayden nodded.

I grabbed her hand. She sighed.

"And I'm sorry for not standing up for you." I said.

She whimpered and pulled me into a hug. Her hands wrapped around me.

I hesitated. No one had ever...I cant remember the last time someone hugged me.
