Chapter 8

Athy stared at him confused as he leaned closer..

"you.. Just now drinked from the can I drank" he whispered in her ear.

"so what..? I was so thirsty" she mumbled..

"pfft.. Athanasia.. Don't you know that's an indirect kiss.?" he whispered and looked at her face enjoying the sight he wanted to see her fluster meter going up and her face getting red..

"tha.. That.. I.." she stuttered her hands gripping the can tight staring at him perplexed ..

' pfft.. She looked so perplexed and embarrassed and the way her doe eyes staring at me is so cute ...' he thought and smiled.

"you look so pretty" he said out of the blue and she stared at him surprised..

"huh.." she was still staring at him dazed and he suddenly pulled her hand towards him and she stumbled..

She looked beside her and saw she was about to get smacked by the huge steel board a guy was carrying as he walked past them ..

"what the.. Watch where you are going.."lucas scolded him and he apologised.

Then lucas noticed every guy passing by is staring at her and a twitch mark appeared on his forehead which faded as soon as he looked down at athy who looked around like a lost child.. His lips curved into a smile.

" I.. I will get going." she stuttered looking down and moved away to walk past him then suddenly a guy purposely hit her on the shoulder since athy was too distracted because of lucas she didn't noticed and stumbled..

"ohh sorry.. Are you OK.?"

that guy asked as he was about to hold her shoulder but lucas grabbed his hand and pushed him away.

" she is OK so get lost" he said pissed and that guy clicked his tongue before slowly walking away.

"let's go... I will drop you.. It seems too many lunatics are roaming around today" he mumbled as he hold her hand dragged her with him.

" where are you going..?" he asked and she came out of her daze.

"huh.. Backstage"

she mumbled and he walked along with her all the way. Every boys who wanted to approach her ran away as soon as they met that menacing red eyes.

"pfft.. It feels like you are my bodyguard" she said giggling.

" may be I am being one right now.." he mumbled.

"athyyy.. Come" jenny shouted

"thanks lucas.. I gotta go.. See you..".she said waving him bye and he nodded a yes with a small smile.

When athy walked towards helly and jenny , they stared at her for a while then smirked looking at each other.

" what's with you guys..?" athy asked confused.

" you... You look red.. " helly said with a teasing smile. Athy turned and saw herself in the mirror placed there and sighed.

"that smug faced jerk.. I am gonna kill Him.." she cursed under her breathe and they giggled.

" as I thought it's because of lucas huh..? What did he do ..?"

Helly asked with a sly smile.

" nothing.. He is a big jerk.. "she said pouting.

" oww.. What did he do to make you blush..? May be his existence is enough to make girls blush I think.. " helly teased her..

" waah.. I got goosebumps.. That's too cheesy... let's go.. We are getting late " athy said dragging those two to the other members.
