"Daniel?"

The moment I walked into that convenience store I felt old memories resurface back. Daniel looked up at me in surprise as his mouth fell open.

"Y/N?" 

I walked closer to him as I stared at him in disbelief. 'What is he doing here in Seoul?' I thought as I noticed the name tag. "You're working here?"

"I am. I started two days ago."

"What about school?" I asked.

I noticed Daniel nervously rubbed the back of his head as he avoided my gaze. "I dropped out."

"What!" I slammed my hands onto the counter as I leaned in close to him. "Why? Does your mom know about this?" 

"It's fine Y/N. Everything is fine." Daniel smiled at me with a genuine smile as I felt more at ease with his smile. I back away from him as I stared at him.

"I'm glad to see you again." I muttered. Daniel's face heated up as he fidgeted with his hands.

"Me too!" 

Reuniting with Daniel wasn't at the top of my list but I was happy to say the least. As the both of us conversed I heard the door open and I looked behind me to find the three goons walking in and that was my cue to leave.

"Alright Daniel, I'll catch you later." I said as I turned around walked out the door. Accidently running into Zack.

"Watch where you're going!" Zack yelled as I glared at him. Zack noticed it was me as he glared at me even more harshly. "Oh its you." I ignored him as I continued to leave the store.

"Hey I was talking to you!" Zack grabbed my wrist forcefully me to turn to look at him.

"Oh sorry I thought i heard a dog barking." I said as I ripped my arm out of his grasp and turned around to walk away. As I walked back to my house I rubbed my wrist to try and soothe the pain. I scanned it as a red handprint was imprinted into my skin as I sighed heavily.

"God, Jay is definitely going to ask questions." I mumbled as I finally made it to my rundown home. As I walked inside the house, the smell of soap was strong. "Im home!"

The sound of footsteps coming from the hallway was loud as i felt small arms wrap around me. "Y/N! Your back!" The small voice of a little boy said as I looked down at the young boy. His brown eyes shined brightly as he looked up at me.

"Y/N!" The voice of a little girl said as her blue eyes sparkled happily to see me.
