Melody POV.

I indeed did end up going home I couldn't stand being in Lawsons space for 4 more minutes. But it's the day before winter break so me and some friends were planning stuff. "So I think we can do a log cabin for the weeks and go back home for Christmas?" Ariana said.

"Yeah sure. I think we should invite more people. It's like 10 bedrooms." Giselle said. Cierra said she'd pay. "I'm sure you're gonna invite Lawson." Ari said. "Ok?? You'd invite whats his name.." Giselle said.

   I pulled my phone out.

Lawson POV

After melody's jealous rage she left my house. I had to drop her off too. But to my surprise she texted me.

Mel - my friends were renting a log cabin for a couple of days if you wanna come you can invite ppl.

Lawson - I knew you wouldn't be gon fa long. But I'll be there ma.

   I put my phone down continuing my conversation. "Melody and some other people renting a log cabin for break. Y'all wanna go?" I asked.

    

    "Yeah Ariana planning it. I'll go." Dean said. "Yeah ik melody going so Giselle going I'll be there." Xavier said. "We gotta get a couple more people to go. It's 10 bedrooms. I'm assuming we rooming wit people." I said.

   Melody and I haven't really been on speaking terms. But she still wants to talk. The time inching closer and closer to 3:30. I headed to the front of the school waiting for her to walk out.

   I seen her. "Melody." I called out.

Melody POV

   I was talking to Giselle. She was taking me home. "Girl did you fuck him? If so was it good?" She asked. "No I did not. I still wanna know what it hit for though." I laughed.

    "Speaking of the devil." Giselle said. I heard my name called. "Go ahead and see what he wants Mel." She said scooting me off.

     I walked over there. "Yeah?" I questioned. "Where you headed pretty?" He asked fondling with his car keys. "Home to pack..." I said. "Oh. I'll drive you." He said.

   "Uhh I don't know-" I tried to finish. "Giselle go ahead home."  He said. "Lawson." I said. He shushed me. "Did you just shush me? Giselle was walking away.

   

"You ready to go?" He asked. "I wanted Giselle to take me." I said crossing my arms. I waited for him to open the door for me to get in.

"What you waiting for?" He asked. "Uh for you to open the door." I said. He got up and opened the door. "Thanks." I said getting in.

"You're boujiee for a country girl." He said. I personally don't consider my self country. Just live on a farm. "Take me to my house so I can pack." I said.

We began to drive as my home began to approach. I was excited to get the hell up out of there. "Ok I'll be right back." I said getting out.

I threw whatever in there. Like 5 swimsuits because there's a hot tub and like 100 outfits. I got my other essential stuff. I walked out the house with my pink suitcase and purse.

"Lawson don't you have to pack?" I asked. "Yeah we going back to my place and then we going to the cabin." He said putting his seatbelt on.

Lawson POV.

      "So we taking turns driving right?" I asked. "Absolutely...Not!" She laughed. "I refuse to drive in the mountains this time of night. I'm country but not that country." She said. Her laugh and smile is so cute.

   
   "Lawson whatever happened to chassisdy? The bitch you had?" She asked. "Well. She left me pretty much." I said focusing in on the road. "I mean you had to have did something." She said looking up at me.

"She said I was wasting her time. She said that when you went all ballistic on me. That night." I said. "Hm. I've never went through that." She said.

"Have you even been in a relationship?" I asked laughing. "Yeah. His name was Devin." She said looking down. I could tell talking about him made her uncomfortable.

"Well what happened between you two?" I asked. "Well. I moved. I don't miss him much." She said. "Long distance isn't your thing huh?" "It isn't." She said.

Melody POV

We finally got to the cabin. "This shit looks spooky." I said. "Don't tell me you're scared." Lawson laughed. "I'm not." I reached for my bags. "I got it pretty go on inside" he said smacking my ass.

I walked in. I found a room for me. Lawson brought my stuff up and put his stuff away. He came into my room and sat on my bed. "Can I help you?" I asked doing my skincare in the bathroom. This bathroom was stunning.

   It had a vanity with a chair and a jacuzzi. "Melody you wanna go to the hot tub everyone is out here rn." I looked up. "Uhh maybe it's a little cold we should stay in and watch the polar express.

    We went downstairs and made hot coco and popcorn. "Who would've known you'd bend your Hardcore diet." I said eating my popcorn. "Popcorn is high in fiber."

   I got a text it was from Giselle.

Selle - Come outside girl.

Melody - In a minute!!

"You're staying here." He said pulling me closer. "I didn't plan on leaving."
